you need to replace the toner with a new one original samsung,not refill.

menu # 1934 to enter tech mode.
menu left arrow till "new cartridge" enter enter
menu #1934 to exit tech mode.

Or simply replace the 63~100ma fuse on the cartridge.

you just have to put the page in the top compartment and press start. Just like how you use it to copy.

Disassemble fuser and inspect thermistor, thermostat and heat lamp. Replace broken part.

When the fax comes through, is anything printed on the paper or not. if nothing is being printed on fax page, only blank page comes out then reduce the moderm speed for your fax. it will solve the problem.

I have an SF-555P and have installed numerous cartridges. The last one was a Samsung brand and it didn't have the little fuse taped on the top. I never knew what this was fur until I had problems. When I first installed the new cartridge the "Toner Low" display remained lit. I shook the cartridge and it persisted but it printed well. Then about 100 pages later I got the "TONER EMPTY" and the printer stopped. After researching the issue I found that the fuse is actually a reset for the printer counter and when the new cartridge was installed without the fuse, it never reset.

You will need a 5X20 Fast acting fuse, no greater than 315 ma. You can buy a 4 pack from Radio Shack for about $3 (P N 2701046). Install it with a piece of electrical tape in the slot on the toner cartridge and make sure the contacts are exposed. The printer will blow the fuse and reset the counter. Don't use a bigger fuse, a slow-blow or anything that won't burn open quickly or you will be buying a new printer.

Try cleaning the feed rollers in the document feeder with water on a damp rag.

there is a button on the opperation pannal that say fax/reseve if the light is on it wil receve automaticly

Have you checked the fuse in the plug?
If you have then the internal power supply is faulty, this should only be repaired by an experienced technician.

Are you sure your printer toner is OK or not you must be replace this toner if you refill it.Because refill toner powder is not samsung supported so it can not supply proper toner.

if copy is not clear.that this can be due to many reasons.--- 1)The drum must have gone faulty or may be the drum is at the end of its life and need replacement.---- 2)The toner powder inside the cartridge or the drum has caught moisture.replace the cartridge and check.------- 3)if everything above is okay then the laser beam inside the laser assembly has dust on it causing shaded image and distorted copy.in that case the printer needs to be serviced and laser ccd device needs to be cleaned properly.-----
