Bought used sim card for Blackberry rim 7520
the phone number should be retrieved from the sim card or carrier login procedure.
I had a few blackberry's, including a 75xx series one, and when I popped in another card (I have a couple of prepaid subscriptions for testing), the number always came up automatically.
Should work... If not, try contacting RIM/Blackberry support, but I doubt they'll still give support for the 7xxx series models... sorry

PUK Code
Hi,a PUK code is for your simcard and not your phone,
Another sim will work ok in the phone,
Your simcard has been blocked due to entering the wrong pin code 3 times, you need to contact your simcard/network provider who will be able to supply you with the PUK code to ublock your simcard, there should be no charge
- Some network providers have an online automatic service for retrieving the PUK if you check on their website,
You enter your mobile number and the PUK code is generated

Internet won't work
it sounds like your running on boost, and not nextel. If that is the case, you can download Opera Mini OR use the blackberry browser (w/ very limited access) by downloading the 4 main service books- people say you cannot use the blackberry browser with boost, but I do with no problems except limited sites- I have the service books downloaded to my desktop manager and found them online.
