Creative Labs Inspire P7800 Computer Speakers Questions & Answers
Volume Control Unit has gone bad
The volume control is nothing more than small complicated rheostat. If you don't know electronics take it to a radio repair shop. Just tell the repair guy to build you a new one using the old cord. That is if the cord is not what is bad! Take the entire unit with you. For a trained repair man it should be a easy thing to rebuild. I own a P7800 and if the control unit should break that is just what I would do.
I need power adapter for creative inspire 4.1 4400
Any good off the shelf adapter should work, but make sure it reads:
INPUT: 100V to 240 V 50/60HZ OUTPUT: 12V DC, 2.9 Amps
Radio Shack or Best Buy is your best choices on finding one.

Control pod quit working i
I have the same set of speakers and it seems to be a common problem. I've noticed that I can usually get it to work again by disconnecting the power to the unit for 5 minutes and it'll start working again. If that doesn't work, unfortunately, the control unit is proprietary. You might have some luck if you contact Creative support.
