To unlock the Channel Master CM7000PAL DVR: 1. Unplug the recorder from the wall outlet and DISCONNECT THE ANTENNA. Then the same cycle would keep repeating. It seems like after years of adding and deleting timers, the DVR's software gets "confused". I've noticed that twice it happened on the hour just as a program timer started while I was watching a program through the DVR. ZAP...Locked up! The power button would not even work to turn it off.
