Admin reset password

Hi Patrick,You can reset the password by pushing the reset button in the back of the router...it might be a a small hole so you might want a paper clip handy. Hold it in for about 10 seconds and then you should be able to get to the router settings using the default user name and password....you can look on the bottom of the router to get those.Just remember to redo the security settings once you get in.Thanks and hope this helps! Please rate if it did:)Gary

I have a mobile connect wireless modem.......speed

Unfortunately video information takes up a large part of the bandwidth, to improve the performance reduce the video resolution to e-mail size (eg. 320X240).
Because the Skype server is in the UK, your data goes to the UK and then to your friend and vice versa even though your friend maybe next door. If reducing the video resolution doesn.t work and to improve the audio quality both you and your friend should turn off the WEBcam.
High volume Internet traffic will also affect video image quality.
Having only audio without video is not too bad because you are not paying for high international phone charges and you would not get video anyway.

My tablet does not connect to the wireless route

Network Key (WEP, WPA, WPA2 Encryption key) To connect your computer/tablet to a wireless router, you click the Refresh network list, then Choose your wireless network and then click Connect to your secured Wireless Network, it will asks for a Network Key before allowing you to connect into your wireless network. This Network Key is either the WEP, or WPA or WPA2 Encryption key that is configured in the Wireless settings in the Router. The Passphrase is an alternate way to setup the Encryption key. When you are requested for a Network Key, you can just enter the Passphrase or WPA or WPA2 key that was used to configure the Encryption key in the wireless router. http://www.fixya.com/support/r5270415-network_password_network_address For information on securing your wireless network, configuring the wireless router and configuring the wireless card in the laptop/computer, please click on this link and follow my instructions :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r3559128-wireless_router_security

I need to do a factory reset

The router's admin page is http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 and the default password should be either "admin" or "password" without quotes. There should be a choice under "Setup" called "Factory Reset". That will erase the settings and reset it like new.Alternatively, you can follow the procedure as given below on all the brands I've tried (Belkin, D-Link, Linksys)1. hold the reset button for 30 seconds (don't release)2. unplug the power (still holding reset) for 10 seconds3. plug power back in (still holding reset)4. hold reset for another 30 seconds - the lights will usually begin flashing in some odd pattern5. release the reset button6. wait 1 full minute or until the lights stop flashing7. unplug the power for 10 seconds, just to do a reboot8. verify the settings (e.g. SSID) are back to the defaultsFeel free to get online D-Link router/wireless router support at http://www.vtechsquad.com/wireless-router-support/ to fix D-Link router/wireless router issues.

I forget the password and i need to know how to do knew one?

Factory reset button on the rear of device. Hold in with paper clip wire or mechanical pencil for 10 sec. Default settings are in the manual on the dlink support site. Username s/b admin with no password (or password admin). Address 192.168.0.1 gets typed in to your browser's address bar. When you set it up, use WPA2 and EAS for security, most others have been cracked, including WEP, WPA and TKIP (AFAIK).
