The Zero Configuration Utility built into Windows XP may vary depending on if you have installed Service Pack 1 or not.

Download Service Pack 1 here.

Without Service Pack 1

Step 1 Right-click on the two computer monitor icons in the system tray and select View Available Wireless Networks.

Step 3 If you do not see your wireless network in the available networks box click on the Advanced button. Select Add and type in the SSID of your router or access point, uncheck this computer is connected in and ad-hoc peer-to-peer network, and then click OK.

Power light is on, lan light is on, wlan light

Is dlink the name of your network? I think your confusing it with the manufacturer.

    Try This:
On the bottom of the router there is a number or ip address it should look something similar to this 192.168.0.1. Now, if you have access to the internet, if not, go use a friend's computer or the library and type that number EXACTLY as it appears in an internet browser (internet explorer, firefox, safari) where you would normally type a web address. You will be prompted with a password, enter the password. Now go through the setup and change the SSID when prompted to. Now enter that SSID which you just made when searching for networks on your wireless device.

This might solve your problem. If you have questions, contact me on my profile. Good luck!

    WHAT IS MY WEP

Your WEP is a password you set up on a wireless network to prevent just anyone connecting to your network. If you do not remember your WEP, go to your router web page and look under the security settings. You should be able to find it there.

Cannot go to 192.168.0.50 again after receiving internet connect

I would recommend going to the D-Link website, checking for a new version of firmware, and then upgrading. Set the device back to factory defaults, and rebuild the configuration from scratch afterward. That should resolve the issue.

I just set up a netgear router and a lynksys

If you did not configure the Netgear wireless router and changed the default settings and the default password password, then your wireless system is open to anyone hacking into your system and change your wireless router's settings and they can hack into your computers and your Internet connection. The Linksys expander will increase the wireless range to give a wider coverage to your router.
I suggest you reset the Netgear back to the factory defaults (press the pinhole button on the back of the Netgear router until the LEDs flash then release this button,
The configure the Netgear as follows :-
To set-up and secure the wireless router from unauthorized access, follow these steps: -
    1. Connect the wireless router to your computer with a LAN cable.
    2. Start your browser and enter the router's configuration URL IP address.
    3. Enter the router setup, login and password
    4. Change the admin password
    5. Go to the wireless settings and change the default SSID and turn off SSID broadcast.
    6. Setup encryption key the strongest is WPA2 (if not then WPA).
    7. For further security measures - turn on MAC address filtering and enter the MAC address of the wireless cards on the computer/s you want to connect to this wireless router.
    8. Record the settings you have made and keep it in a safe place and Save the settings.
    9. Configure the wireless cards on the computer/s with the SSID and encryption settings of the router.
    10. Remove the LAN cable between the router and the computer then the computers should be able to connect to the router wirelessly.

I am trying to configure a DAP 1353 to a ZyXEL

The quick and easy answer would be to get a network management program. For 30-50 dollars you could up and running and protected.
Network Magic (I use it) is a good one, easy to use and very good.
You can get it from the link I have provided below..

Thank you for the chance to help
I do hope the information has helped you.
