Restore it to default, with these things, if it wont work on automatic, then something is worng.

Remove 13 screws from the perimeter of the back side of the DWL-2700AP and pull the covers apart. On the inside along the bottom adjacent from where the network cable plugs in, you will find a reset button. It is next to the white plug that leads to the antenna. You will need a flat screwdriver or something thin and sturdy to wedge between the casing and the reset button. While the AP has power, press the button and hold it in for a few seconds then release. Give it a few minutes and the factory defaults should be restored. Default IP: 192.168.0.50, Default subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

The Dlink wireless modem is configured correctly and the computer/laptop can access the Internet wirelessly.
The PS3 needs to be configured with the Dlink modem's wireless settings so it can communicate with the wireless modem.
To configure the PS3 please follow these steps :-
1. Power up the PS3 and login then Select Network Settings and
press X
2. Select Easy then press > button
3. Select Wireless then press > button
4. Select Scan then press > button
5. Select the wireless modem you want to use, then press X button
6. Confirm the SSID for the wireless modem then press > button
7. Select the security settings (ie WAP, WPA - this is the in the wireless modem settings) then press > button
If there is no encryption I suggest you enable the encryption on the wireless modem, use passphrase to generate the encryption key.
Write down this encryption key, you will need this key for your computers and PS3.
8. Enter the WEP or WPA encryption key (from the wireless modem) then press > button
9. Check the settings then press X button

When you connect the computer directly to the access point, you might not be getting IP address on your computer.
You will need to assign a static IP address on your computer in the range of default IP address of the Access point.

Administrator settings allow you to customize User Name and Passwords as an Administrator of DWL-2700AP. The default value of the Username is "admin" with no password entered.
Password
Enter a password in the Access Point Password field. Type the password again in the next field to confirm it. The Password is case-sensitive ("A" is a different character than "a",) and must be between 0 and 12 characters in length
System Settings
You may reset the DWL-2700AP back to factory settings by clicking on Restore Default settings.
Restore Default Settings
Choose Yes and click Apply to restore all Access Point settings to the factory default settings.

since you upgraded a different firmware try updating the firmware again with the correct firmware if it works fine if it doesnot then the router had gone bad,,
and for GeminiBS reset the router to the factory default since the firmware was not done in a proper manner may be it had interruptions..once the hard reset is done the computer is restored back to the default so that you can use the device..

make a location in that mode is access point and b location make it repeater mode then you get it but sure that same ip raNGE

Yeah, not a good idea to have opened it if there is a warranty still in effect. Belkin, DLink, and Linksys are all made by the same corporation, Cisco, and generally a flashing power light indicates a fault condition. You may be better off getting a new one.

hi, i noticed before when i pressed on the reset button of my dlink, the power started flashing, n when i stopped pressing the reset button it wont stop flashing anymore..did you happen to press the reset button or power button too long, sometimes it is dislocated so the power light wont stop flashing, just by pressing on it one more time should fixed it, though if it was previously configured it will go back to default settings...thats also the reason why you cant ping or go to the config page because its not relaying the info..i stongly suggest you contact dlink for this so that they could give you more info about it...because for power light its just that or its already defective...i hope this would help, pls feel free to ask if you have anymore questions

You can find the details of the operator and the state they belong to .the operators wont reveal the address and name of any mobile numbers only higher officials can only get those information.

I am sure it is now toast and you cannot downgrade if the wrong firmware has been installed. I would ask D-Link.
