funny thing about speakers is that they need an enclosure to work properly in
the unit has a back and the car has a door skin or other enclosure to work in

Forget the upgrade to windows 10, Dell doesn't recommend you do this as it disables some programs. I have the same computer.

My daughter had the same trouble with her Dell computer. The guy who was reloading Windows found the additional drivers on the Dell website.
The Dell recovery disc supplied with a new machine already contain those drivers.

Try plugging a pair of headphones or earbuds or a different pair of known-working speakers (in places of the current speakers) - if you get sound with the "replacements", then there's a problem with the "current" speakers; otherwise, the problem is the sound on the unit.

Alternatively, plug the "current" speakers into a different (preferably, known-working) unit. If there's still no sound, then there's a problem with the speakers; otherwise, the problem is the sound on the original unit.

Joseph Nucifora,
Unfortunately, Dell does not have any wiring diagrams for speakers or sub-woofers. They would replace them if they are broken and are under warranty.

have this problem When attach the mp3 player to my lap top with USB cable...

Did it recognize previously? If you are using it first time and it's not recognized, you should return it.
Else, you should test your player on another computer. If doesn't show up as Removable Disk, your mp3 player passed out. You can't do anythig.

From what I understand, the Scratch 2500 does not have MIDI control capability so it cannot be fully controlled by external software. You might want to check the support forums for more information.

It seem your amplifier doesn't work, nothing to do with your computer, you can check with any other source lik eMP3 player, etc. If you take apart the box, there are some SJ4558 dual opamp. In my panel three of them were not working. Check if they are working or not. TDA 8947J is the power amp ic, download the datasheet.
You can also check the input PINs there are article about it.
After I replaced the 3 bad opamp, worked fine like new.
