Upload pictures from camera
You didn't specify the make and model of your camera, so this assumes it uses a memory card of some type.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa.

Whats the solution for BMR compressed?
The Windows operating system allows you to compress the files on your drive to conserve disk space. In some situations, this compression process will compress files required for the operating system to boot. Files that are compressed must be decompressed prior to execution. Since the operating system has not loaded, boot files cannot yet be decompressed. In this case, the operating system will fail to load and a "BootMgr is compressed" message will appear. An easy way around this problem is to boot from the Windows DVD, and use the provided interface to access your drive properties and decompress it. Turn on the computer, and insert your Windows DVD. Press a random key on your keyboard once you see the "Press any key..." message. This interrupts booting from the hard drive and forces a boot from the Windows DVD. Click the "Next" button at the bottom of the Windows 7 dialog, and then click the "Repair your Computer" link Below.

This opens a file browser on your screen. Click the "Computer" icon, which is located on the left hand side of the screen. This displays an icon for your disk drive. Right-click your hard drive, and click "Properties. " This opens a Local Disk Properties dialog. Click to deselect the "Compress this drive..." option at the bottom, and then click the "Apply" button. Select the "X" icon to close the file browser window. This takes you back to the Install Windows dialog. Press the "X" icon at the corner of the Install Windows dialog. This opens a cancellation dialog. Select the "Yes" button on this dialog to restart your computer. Hope this helps b>
Acer iconia is turning off when unplugged on full battery
There are two possible problems:1. Software (Video Driver)2. BatteryWith regards to the software issue, you just need to update the video firmware or driver. Chances are, your acer is programmed to power savings mode when it's removed from the plug and when it changes the setting to power saving mode, the driver cannot support it because it's outdated that's why it goes off. 2nd Possible reason is your battery going dead. If that's the case, then you need to replace the battery.I hope this helps.Carlo
Acer iconia a500 tablet shuts itself off
This might sound a little stupid, but 1 is it plugged in when you put it sleep mode, and when u open the screen do you physically have to turn it back on. Sometimes when you put a computer in "sleep mode" and its not plugged in you lose power slowly
HALF THE SCREEN IS NOT DISPLAYING . I SEE NO CRACKS
This is not good, hook a spare monitor to the video output usually on the back. if picture is okay! the LCD display on the laptop needs to be replaced. But if both screens show the same result it is the video graphics card that is defective, normally built into the motherboard.

Finally I noticed when I powered up my computer the pop up showed up even before the computer loaded anything. I turned off the power to the monitor and powered it back up an viola, pop up gone. The Acer monitor had generated the pop up.
My Acer X1110 switches off as soon as blue light comes on?
it needs service, and service manuals are hard to find on anything by the likes of ACER.
this projector worked for 12 long years, did you own it 12 or bought a bad projector, no history told as I can buy dead projectors all day long. and hard nut problems even hacking done.
Acer X1110 data projector Standard throw projector..
did you know most projectors have serious grade protective devices inside??? (tamper and overheating are 2)
did you read owners manual page 32 yet, errors.
LED codes.?
there are 4 LED, and all 4 matter, projector turned (ON) (not one =1)
also in pairs glowing and also if blinking or not, so read page 32
it tells all that.
my guess is overheat failures, even cold, due fan slow or packed in lint after 12 years of use and no service done,.

''e'' button :acer empowering technology
That button can be set using the utility on your programs list
It maybe that you accidentally turned it off or set it to do some other task.
Start there first before re-installing the program that sets it.
That is on one of the cds that should have come with it and can be installed by itself.
