Why does htc rhyme's viber contacts keep unsyncing?
Two things to try. Go through your contacts list and ensure that your contacts' numbers have their respective country code (i.e. instead of 912-555-1234, have +1-912-555-1234 for someone in the US). This is particularly important if your contacts are in a different country than the registered phone number on your Viber account.
Another option that kind of bypasses it: from the Viber messaging screen (the tab with the little message bubble), click the add conversation button (bottom left corner, looks like a message bubble with a plus sign). Manually input a phone number you know has Viber, including the +country code. Check the Add # button, then press Done up in the top right of the screen. You can now start a conversation with this number.

My phone will not turn back on. it shut off amd now it will not turn back on
First place it on a charger for a full day, allowing it to gain a full battery, when done try to boot your device, try connecting it with your computer to see if it is not just the screen that is broken/black. Also check the actual battery, while this can easily catch corrosion on the surface connecting with your phone, or get dispositioned.
I hope this helped you!

Htc rhyme wont recognize sd card
Try the SD card in your computer, see if it is corrupted. If not, copy the files off of it and then re-format it - then try it in your phone.
If that does not work, try a fresh SD card in the phone (maybe borrow one?)
If that fails too, it may well be that the internal SD card reader in the phone has gone bad.

Phone randomly powers down
The battery could be worn down or damaged. Take the back cover and remove the battery and clean the pins on the battery and the phone with a brush and pop it back in and see if the problem is fixed. Also check the power button and check that there is no residue build up that can make it get "stuck" down thus making it shut down. Good Luck

Restore the phone
HTC Rhyme has hugely potholed OS. There are many faults with the hardware itself. The maximum life expected of this device is around 2 years. Having said that, try factory reset. Also, if your device is old and beyond warranty, you might also choose to root your phone with custom ROMs available on the internet. I have chosen the same solution for my gf's phone, which tends to run extremely smooth since. Try Googling for xda forums HTC Rhyme custom ROM

Undo restore
If you did a factory reset, you have erased ALL data on the phone, and returned it to the state it was in when it was removed from the box. On cell phones, unless you have snyced it to your PC or backed it up in some way, all is lost. You may have a shot at checking with you carrier to see if they backed it up for you, but that doesn't usually happen unless you activate it yourself.
