Why are all lights staying on kenmore ultra wash dishwasher 665
I'm not sure if all of your lights are staying on, but if it is several at least and your cycle is done....just push your door closed again and the lights should go out. I find that after my cycle finishes, if I don't completely close the door, most of the lights stay lit. I have to be sure the door snaps in all the way when I close it or the lights stay on.

How do to get my dishwasher running like normal again?
I don't see the connection between the heating element and a load indicator malfunction. I had a Kenmore that needed a new computer board a long time ago. The heating element is simply a heater. Depending on your finances, it may be cheaper to pull the dishwasher and take it to a repairman to diagnose the problem. He can replace the computer board for a lot less than the cost of a new washer. Hope this helps.

My kenmore dishwasher not working code f4e1 came on
I checked the searspartsdirect.com website, and according to them, it is a 'motor communication issue.' In order to get more details, you have to create a login, and it was taking forever to complete that, so I gave up.
Try flipping the circuit breaker, leave it off for 1 minute, then turn it on again. Do you still get the error code?
Okay, I finally completed the sign-up process. Here is some more info from an actual repair technician:
The F4E1 is a code that signifies a WASH MOTOR
issue. Specifically, no Communication. This is usually caused by: A loose connection in Wash Motor Circuit, Motor Communication Circuit and/or an open wash motor. 1. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power. 2. Check all connections in Wash/Rinse Circuit and Motor Communications Circuit with meter. Fix/replace an open connection/part. Motor fuse on control open. 1. Start Service Diagnostics Cycle using keypad and advance through the error code intervals to interval 19. ( shown on image below ) 2. Listen for 2 relay contact clicks at the start of interval 19 (to confirm both the pilot and motor relays are turning on.
NOTE : These relays provide power to the motor, but the motor does not start until it receives a start command later in the cycle). If hear only 1 or zero clicks and wash motor does not come on later in service cycle, and there were no loose wire communication wire connection when checked above, then unplug dishwasher or disconnect power and replace control.
Faulty wash motor. 1. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power. 2. Use inspection mirror to inspect for water leakage and/or overheating on the wash motor. If evidence of overheating exists, replace wash motor. If evidence of moisture exists, check seals and hoses.f you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:

Dishwasher won't run. Worked yesterday, checked curcuit breaker, ok. water is in the bottem of washer but below the float level.
First, check the dishwasher filter and make sure it isn't clogged. Your owner's manual will have simple instructions on how to access and clean your dishwasher's filter. Next, check the drain hose. Does it look flattened or kinked? Do you see any sharp bends? If so, straighten out the hose with your hands and manipulate it so that it regains its rounded shape. If your dishwasher drains through the garbage disposal, try running the garbage disposal for a bit to process and clear any food. If that does not get the machine draining, you may have a deeper clog. However, most drain hoses clog either at the main household sink drain line connection or the garbage disposal connection.Does your dishwasher spray your dishes, but it does not advance to the next stage and drain the dirty water? The timer controls the start of the draining process, so you may need an entirely new timer or a new motor for the timer. Repair service is recommended. In some dishwashers, standing water is caused by a valve that fails to open and allow the water to drain out. This valve is controlled a solenoid that the timer controls. A malfunctioning solenoid could be the problem. For more troubleshooting tips and solutions, see
