Samsung Plasma PN64f8500AFAXZA screen doesn't turn on?

There could be a few different issues that could be causing the screen to not turn on. It's possible that the power supply board is the culprit, but it could also be a problem with the main board, the Y-sustain board, or the Z-sustain board. Here are a few steps you can take to try and diagnose the issue:
  1. Check the connections: Make sure all of the cables connecting the TV to any external devices are securely plugged in. It's also worth checking the power cord and making sure it's properly connected to both the TV and the wall outlet.
  2. Look for any visual signs of damage: Check the power supply board, the main board, and the Y-sustain and Z-sustain boards for any signs of physical damage, such as burnt or swollen components.
  3. Try a power cycle: Unplug the TV from the power outlet and wait at least 30 seconds before plugging it back in and attempting to turn it on.
  4. Test the power supply board: If you have access to a multimeter, you can test the power supply board to see if it's outputting the correct voltages. If you're not comfortable doing this yourself, it's best to bring the TV to a professional for repair.
  5. Seek professional repair: If you're not comfortable attempting any repairs yourself, it's best to bring the TV to a professional for diagnosis and repair. They'll be able to troubleshoot the issue and determine the best course of action.
Overall, it's difficult to say for certain what the issue is without further diagnosis. If none of the above steps work, I would recommend seeking professional repair.

Samsung UN65JU670DFXZA (Version TD03) does not power on

If you've already tried resetting the TV to factory settings and replacing the Power Supply/LED Driver board, the next step would be to check the power cord itself. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the power cord:
  1. Make sure the power cord is securely plugged in: Check that the power cord is plugged in firmly to both the TV and the wall outlet.
  2. Check the power outlet: Plug another device into the same outlet to make sure it's not a problem with the outlet itself.
  3. Check the power cord for damage: Inspect the power cord for any visible damage, such as frayed or broken wires. If you see any damage, replace the power cord.
  4. Check the voltage output: Use a multimeter to check the voltage output of the power cord. The voltage output should match the voltage listed on the TV's specifications.
If the power cord appears to be damaged or not functioning properly, you can try replacing it with a new one. If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be a problem with the TV's internal components and you should consider contacting Samsung support or a qualified technician for further assistance.

Vertical 5" wide dark band in middle of screen

A 5" wide dark band in the middle of a Samsung Smart Series 7 TV screen could be caused by several issues. Here are a few potential causes and solutions:
  1. Faulty LCD Panel: If the LCD panel is damaged, it may cause a dark band in the middle of the screen. Unfortunately, a damaged LCD panel usually requires a professional repair or replacement, which can be expensive.
  2. Loose or Damaged Connection: A loose or damaged connection between the TV's internal components could cause a dark band on the screen. Check all of the cables and connections between the TV and any external devices to ensure they are properly connected and undamaged.
  3. Picture Settings: The dark band could be caused by the TV's picture settings. Try adjusting the picture settings to see if it improves the image. For example, you could try adjusting the brightness, contrast, or sharpness.
  4. Software Update: A software issue could cause a dark band on the screen. Check if there is a software update available for your TV and install it if necessary.
  5. Magnetic Interference: If there is a strong magnetic field near the TV, it could cause a dark band on the screen. Try moving any magnets or magnetic devices away from the TV to see if it improves the image.
If none of these solutions work, it may be best to contact a professional TV repair technician who can diagnose and fix the issue. They can ensure that the repair is done correctly and safely, and can help prevent further damage to the TV.

Samsung TV PN63B590T5F will not change volume or channels with the remote or using the buttons on the TV. Main logic board? Power board? Something else?

It's either a main board issue or an issue with the button panel, I'd unhook the button panel and see if it works with the remote, if you can change things then it's in the buttons, I didn't pull up service info so it's possible the infrared and buttons are all one unit, in that case it will be harder to diagnose the issue

Hi i would like to know if i could project my Samsung A32 to my Sansui SV21E11G via Aux Cable?

An aux cable is designed for transmitting analog audio signals and cannot carry video signals. The Sansui SV21E11G TV also does not have any built-in features for screen mirroring or connecting to mobile devices wirelessly, so you will need to use an external device to connect your Samsung A32 to the TV. Using an HDMI cable is a simple and straightforward method to project your Samsung A32 to your TV. HDMI is a digital signal that can carry both video and audio signals, and most modern devices come with an HDMI port. To use this method, you will need an HDMI cable and an HDMI adapter or connector for your Samsung A32, if it doesn't already have an HDMI port. Wireless screen mirroring devices, such as Chromecast or Miracast, allow you to wirelessly project your smartphone's screen onto your TV. These devices use Wi-Fi Direct technology to create a direct connection between your Samsung A32 and the TV, and they can mirror the contents of your phone's screen in real-time. To use this method, you will need a compatible screen mirroring device, a Wi-Fi network, and a compatible TV with an HDMI port.

Main video board the culprit?

One possibility for the sporadic signal loss you're experiencing is the video board. However, this issue could also be caused by a loose cable connection, a tuner issue with the television, or software issues. The intermittent signal loss could have been caused by a loose cable or a damaged connection after the backlights were replaced. I would advise checking each and every cable connection to ensure that they are securely fastened in place and that no damage has occurred prior to replacing the video board. You could also try performing a software reset on the television to see if that helps. The video board may need to be replaced if these steps do not resolve the issue. It's best to talk to an experienced TV repairman about the problem and the best course of action. They will have the experience and tools necessary to correctly identify the issue and suggest the most cost-effective solution.

My Samsung solar remote blinks but will not sync at all the Bluetooth icon appears on the TV tho

The issue with your Samsung Solar Remote not syncing with the TV even though the Bluetooth icon is appearing on the TV could be caused by a few different things. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Check the battery: Make sure that the battery of the remote is charged and inserted correctly.
  2. Move the remote closer to the TV: The remote should be within 30 feet of the TV to ensure a strong Bluetooth connection.
  3. Turn the TV off and on again: This can help to reset the Bluetooth connection between the remote and the TV.
  4. Remove the pairing information: If you have paired the remote with another device before, it may have saved the pairing information and is interfering with the new pairing. Try removing the pairing information from the remote and the TV and then pair them again.
  5. Reset the remote: You can reset the remote by removing the battery, then pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds, and then releasing it. Reinsert the battery and try to sync the remote again.

Samsung smart tv keeps blowing fuse, how to tell what's causing it?

Determining the cause of a blown fuse can be a difficult task and requires a certain level of expertise and knowledge of electronic systems. If you have experience with control boards, that's great, but it's still important to exercise caution when working with electrical systems. Here are some steps you can take to determine the cause of the blown fuse:
  1. Check for obvious physical damage: Before you begin, inspect the television for any physical damage or signs of burn marks. If you find any, it could indicate that there is a problem with the TV's power supply.
  2. Check the wiring: Make sure that all the wiring is properly connected and that there are no loose or frayed wires.
  3. Test the power source: Make sure that the electrical outlet is working properly by testing it with a different device.
  4. Check the capacitors: Capacitors are often the cause of blown fuses. They can fail due to overheating or other reasons. You can visually inspect the capacitors to see if they are bulging or leaking.
  5. Isolate the problem: Disconnect the TV from the power source and unplug it from the wall. Then, one by one, reconnect each board to the power source and see which one is causing the fuse to blow.
If you're not comfortable working with electrical systems, it might be best to call a professional for help. If the problem is a blown fuse, replacing it will be relatively easy, but if the problem is more complicated, such as a faulty power supply, it may require more time and expertise to resolve.

How do you remove the power supply board from a Samsung QN65Q6DRAF ? They are not held on by screws but by a device that looks like you may lift it and then move the board to the left?

Newer Samsung sets don't use screws for the back or to hold the boards in, you will see slides on the top of the board, pull up on the board( lightly) and slide the board out.

Had colored vertical lines on my Samsung LED TV. Have replaced the main board as well as power supply board. I now get a uniform blue screen with no other images. Any idea what the problem might be?

If you have replaced the main board and power supply board and are still getting a uniform blue screen on your Samsung LED TV, it could indicate one of the following issues:
  1. T-Con Board: The T-Con board, or Timing Control Board, is responsible for managing the flow of video data from the main board to the LCD panel. If the T-Con board is damaged or not functioning properly, it can result in a blue screen.
  2. Backlight Inverter: The backlight inverter is responsible for powering the backlight of the TV. If the backlight inverter is not working properly, it can result in a uniform blue screen.
  3. LCD Panel: The LCD panel could be damaged or have developed a problem, causing the uniform blue screen.
  4. Signal Cable: The cable connecting the main board to the T-Con board or the LCD panel could be damaged, causing a lack of signal and a blue screen.
It's best to consult with a professional repair technician or the manufacturer for further diagnosis and repair. They will be able to determine the exact cause of the issue and recommend the best course of action.
