Hi try charge your camera battery and check if it keep current, if yes it can be faulty circuit board if not replace battery. Check also if charger is working properly.
Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.
Go to page 33 of your user manual. If you do not have one, send me an email to [email protected] and I will send it to you. Please put "kodak c1550" as the subject.
Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can try that may (or may not) correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens obstructed errors, but if the camera is out of warranty (or repair cost approaches that of the camera), they're worth that try. Some of the later steps do involve some risk to the camera, so carefully weigh your options before deciding to conduct them:

There are a few possible reasons why your Kodak Easyshare Z740 camera might be turning off while you are trying to take pictures:
The battery might be low or dead. Try replacing the battery with a fully charged one to see if this fixes the issue.
There might be a problem with the camera's power supply. Try cleaning the battery contacts and charging the battery to see if this fixes the issue.
There might be a problem with the camera's firmware. Try updating the firmware to see if this fixes the issue.
There might be a problem with the camera's hardware. If the camera is still under warranty, you should contact Kodak for service. If the camera is not under warranty, you may need to take it to a repair shop to have it fixed.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
