In Windows, run "cmd". Type "ping google.com". If you can ping google.com, the problem is with the websites you are trying to surf. If you cannot ping google, there is a problem with your connection. Hello Ames3pack Just with your windows firewall, or antivirus program, can do the trick. but if you have the router manual better, ! then you can go inside the box with the IP and set up things! Carl

The setup disc that you maybe able to find is just a wizard and can't setup printers to your router like in my first tip.

Few things you can try. First would be to do a factory reset. Do this by pressing the reset button for at least ten seconds. If that doesn't work you could try switching ethernet ports. If that doesn't work your router is probably dead.

On most machines you should simply have to click on the wireless icon, which is usually in the bottom left corner. After that you click on the network that you want to join and may have to input password.

No problem unless it has a password to enter (192.168.x.x) in the router configuration.

Samay, You should reset your router to clear all information from it. The best procedure to fully clear your device would be to press the reset button with power on for 30 seconds; while continuing to press the reset button, remove power from the unit; and while continuing to press the reset button restore power for 30 seconds. You should now be able to access the menus after the unit boots up with the default user name/password for the unit. If you do not know them, just Google [your router name] default user name and password. You can now set up the router to meet your requirements. There is a lot of information that will help you on the Internet, but having a clean booted router is important to start with.

when you put the mouse over the network icon in your taskbar, it will say access: Local & Internet or local only.

if Local & internet you have a connection to the internet, if local only then open internet explorer, tools, internet options, connections and check that there is no default connection, it should be never dial a conection thats ticked or greyed out.

You need to attach the Belkin 54g wireless router to the DSL/cable modem. Then have all the computers connect wirelessly to the belkin. They should then be able to get out.
