Remove the neighbor's network from the preferred network list.
add your own network in the list. If your router is old router then upgrade the firmware of the router. Firmware is the software of the router.
You have connected your laptop to the router, to secure the wireless network. When you connect the laptop to the router, make sure that the wireless network connection will be disabled.
Once you change the wireless settings, enable the wireless connection and connect to your network.

i m using this router
and problem i m occuring is that..i can only run one thing at time
i m using iphone ma laptop and e63
when iphone is using it...other things do get connected but dun get internet access
when i use e63 it gies an error of no gateway reply after it gets connected to router
plz help me that how can i run three things at one time without getting disconnection

Is there a problem with the computer or the router. You are saying that there is error on the computer but you have selected the category of router.

the lease time should be forever..... even after changing the lease time if you have the same issue, try updating the firmware of your router.... you can download the latest firmware for your router from the link below....

On the back of the router there is a black button. Hold this for 10-30 seconds, it will remove the password. I recommend after completing that step, you log into the router via a browser and give it a password tho, to keep little demons from leeching your internet >:D

please check if your directly connected to the router using a Ethernet cable. Then also check if you are on the same IP range as the router. Last bit to check would be the default gateway. If these three are correct you should have access to the login screen.

hi what u doing is right but remember every laptop is different and the cables too firs u have to figure out what kind of connection do ur laptop has then just chose the right cable becuse the cable u are using is not compatible . sorry ok

to make your router private u will have to get acces to ur router firs if u cant just reset the router from the back the log to the internet and if u cant conect type this192.168.1.101 the brand name of the router appear then enter the user name and pasword if u cant type ADMIN in the user then press enter then go to settings and chose WEP share key and type your password recomment to use a strong password ok then click save. also create a user name while u in thre ok. that will reset the router after that go to my network conection right click on ur wireless router name and go to propertis then chose the WEP share key and type the password then ok. that will set ur router privated ok. good luck

you log into the router via an Ethernet connection, and go into security, generate your "Key" and save it to a notepad document, then save the configuration, and exit. now at the "Client" PC, when you try to "Access" the SSID, network, you will be asked for the "Key" copy paste the key saved on a USB flash drive, or written down, and you should now be able to connect. manual and support at link below. OK, I want you to remove the power and then find the little hole at rear and reset this unit, this will reset to factory, specs. Now try to reset again. You will have to re-set it up all again..Do it with a wired connection through the Ethernet port. in case you don't have a manual have included a link below... have a refresher look, perhaps you are overlooking something? en-us-support.belkin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/355
