Samsung dishwasher DMT300RFW "Case brake assembly" is overflowing

Yeah, you're probably going to have to replace that case-brake assembly. Fortunately, they're not very expensive. Check with SearsPartsDirect.com or RepairClinic.com If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/ronald_e6b9572cebe3ad27

Machine power on off and other butons not responding

A lot of these Samsung dishwashers don't have fuses; or the fuses are incorporated (soldered in and sealed) inside the dishwasher controller (electronic control module); which is unfortunate, because it means that you have to replace the whole electronic control module, which is a fairly expensive proposition. Samsung DMT300RFW Builtin Dishwasher will not run past wash cycle. I start it and it fills and the wash cycle starts but won't cycle past the wash cycle. No error codes.

What do you mean, it won't "run past the wash cycle"? Do you mean it stays in the wash cycle forever? Or do you mean it quits in the wash cycle and doesn't rinse or dry? If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/ronald_e6b9572cebe3ad27

Why does our Samsung DMT300RFW dishwasher have a terrible odor coming from it ?

Usually caused by a draining problem. Check your drain hose where it goes into you garbage disposal. That drain hose should be mounted up so water from the sink and garbage disposal can't backwash into the dishwasher. Use a clamp or zip tie to mount the drain hose so it goes up at least 4 to 6 inches above the garbage disposal port. How do I replace the drain hose on a Samsung dmt300 dishwasher?

Flip the unit onto its face (put down towels first to protect the face and catch the water that will spill out. Remove the square white access cover on the bottom by removing the 2 screws and gently prying the tabs. Now you see the connection to the drain pump. Disconnect here and route the hose out by removing the metal side cover and snapping open the plastic hose guides. The hose is 13 feet long and routes up the side to prevent water from draining to your d/w from your sink, so a universal replacement won't work, you have to get a new one from samsung.

All my lights on the front of the dishwasher are blinking at me & stops running after 3 minutes into the cycle. What is the cause of this & of course, I am two months past my warranty. Help

If three lights are blinking (normal, heavy, quick)... I just had this same problem, and I think I figured it out. There was water on the bottom from the last cycle, so I pressed HEAVY and DELICATE at the same time for 3 seconds (you'll see it printed on the control panel), and the unit drained. I was then able to start the new cycle normally without the error. Hope that helps!

Samsung dishwasher stuck in drain cycle eaven with door open and normal and heavy lights blinking

If your dishwasher is stuck in the drain cycle and the lights are flashing, it may be due to a faulty drain pump. You should check the drain pump and hose for any blockages or clogs. If these parts are clear, then the next step is to check the wiring between the dishwasher and the drain pump. If there is a loose wire or a broken connection, then this could be causing the issue. If the wiring seems fine, then the issue may be with the control board or the drain pump itself. If this is the case, then you will need to replace either of these parts to get your dishwasher back to working order.

The third rack on my Samsung dishwasher no longer pulls out all the way.

It sounds like there may be an obstruction in the glide track that is preventing the third track from moving freely. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
  1. Check for obstructions: Take a close look at the glide track where the third track is getting stuck. Look for any debris or objects that may be blocking the track. You can use a flashlight to help you see better. If you find any obstructions, carefully remove them.
  2. Clean the glide track: Even if you don't see any obstructions, the glide track may be dirty or have accumulated debris. Clean the glide track with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner to remove any buildup that may be causing the third track to get stuck.
  3. Lubricate the glide track: If the glide track is clean and free of obstructions, it may need to be lubricated to help the tracks move more smoothly. Use a silicone-based lubricant, such as WD-40 Silicone Lubricant, to lubricate the glide track. Apply a small amount of lubricant to the track and use a soft cloth to spread it evenly.
  4. Check the glider tracks: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, the glider tracks may be damaged or misaligned. Check the glider tracks to see if they are bent or damaged in any way. If so, they may need to be replaced. If the glider tracks are misaligned, adjust them so that they are straight and parallel to each other.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be worth consulting with a professional technician or contacting the manufacturer for further assistance

The lower spray arm in my Samsung dishwasher is getting stuck on the lower basket somehow and not turning during wash, is there a way to raise the lower basket a little??

The clearance is governed by two things The height of the shelf and the height of the spray bar. Pull out the basket and check the screws holding the rails to the body. Remove the spay Bar and check the bushings and whatever dictates the height. It should spin, but shouldn't wobble.

Samsung dishwasher dw80h9930us diagnostic mode e3

Hey Randy, thank you for the query. According to my research the E3 error code means that your dishwasher is unable to fill with water. To fix this problem, turn the water supply off and unplug your dishwasher from the power socket. You can then remove the water hose and check the water inlet valve to ensure it's working correctly.
