My Toshiba Satellite Pro, when I turn my laptop

The first question is - did you create a password recovery disk? If not you will have to re-install the operating system.
Your BIOS default will be set to start up from teh DVD drvie - insert the recovery disk and it will re-install the operating system.

HDD password

It’s called ‘platter-locked’ and it cannot be easily bypassed or unlocked (the password is built into the hard drive).
If you do not need any information on the hard drive I would suggest buying a new 2.5” hard drive for laptops and install a new one (it will be cheaper).

The problem seems to be that if I move my Toshiba

Hi,

What you have said is very likely a hardware issue instead of being related to the registry cleaning.

Is the laptop covered by warranty?
It seems like a problem on the video adapter, its most likely failing or a cable is loose.

Blue Vertical Line on my laptop screen

Does the line still appear if you plug it into an external monitor? If not sounds like your laptop screen has developed a fault, unlikely to be related to what you did with your camera just coincidence. The only way around this would be to replace the laptop screen. Not an easy job but not too difficult if you can find the same screen for sale on Ebay for example. Either that or replace the laptop and sell the old one on ebay for someone else to fix. Hope that helps Chris

Hi, i have lenovo laptop

Hi, depends on the laptop in question. If it's a newer model I am afraid your pretty well knackered as the the hard drive will be encrypted using the security chip in the laptop and one won't work without the other so I don't think a new hard drive will work either unfortunately but it might do. If this is the case you have 4 options

1 - Re-solder a new security chip onto the board (good luck with that).
2 - Replace the motherboard (expensive unless you can pick one up on Ebay).
3 - Try a new hard drive (might be lucky)
4 - Remember the password

You could also search Google for a hack, As I said depend on the age of the laptop but are some for older chips but not for the newer ones as far as I know. I have been successful with older HP's and Toshiba's but I haven't had to break into one for a while and as I said last time I tried with a lenovo I spoke to lenovo and they told me it wasn't possible.

Hope that helps

Does the Toshiba Satellite Pro 6000 have a

Hi,

The Toshiba Satellite pro 6000 doesn't have a built in microphone as far as I can remember but it does have a microphone socket at the front next to the headphone socket. Both sockets are on the bottom left hand side left if looking from the front. The microphone one is the one on the left, if you look closely there are symbols next to each of the sockets, one looks like headphones the other like a microphone.

Hope that helps

Hdd password

What is HDD Password? All hard disk drives have the possibility to set a hardware password, thus making the drive completely inaccessible unless a correct password is provided during the BIOS POST test. When you set a password on your notebook, the drive becomes locked as well. XBox gaming consoles and some desktop computers can also lock hard disk drives. This is usually called "HDD password" or "ATA password".

If you forget the original HDD password, there is no way of restoring it by generic system tools. HDD Unlock Wizard incorporates proprietary unlocking algorithms which allow to remove an unknown HDD password and make hard drive usable again.

I have a software enable to reset the password security on your harddriver but you need to pay my professional charge. If sound interested please email [email protected].

Please rate me solved if you like my solution.

Best regards,
