Locled out, I forgot the password.
check you manual or with toshiba, but it is possible to get the bios reset you just need to have the right tools. It might be a disk or a setting in the bios itself.

I have a Toshiba Satellite R10 Model PSR10C-AN303E
could be due to neighbours using WI Fi and interferring with your Wi- FI . Log into Wireless router and change the channel number from auto to the lowest channel number available plus 3 so it is different to all the people who use the auto channel mode.

Password request when turned on
The computer is configured to ask for a password after a power up. You must enter the correct one or you won't be able to use the calculator. After three unsuccessful attempts it will lock. If you turn it off and on again you will be prompted for the password again. The solution: take it or send it to a Toshiba Certified Service Center to have the password disabled (unregistered). The service is not free because the laptop is out of warranty. And you may have to prove ownership of the computer.

What is the combination of
There is no Fn-Fx key combination to change screen resolution (at leat on my R10 running Windows XP. Even if you create a shortcut to open the graphics properties you still have to open the relevant tab manually to change resolutions.
You can open the Intel Extreme Graphics 2 for mobile icon on the tray, go to the graphic properties change the resolution and save as a scheme. With a customized scheme defined you will be able to click the Intel Graphic properties and select that scheme. But be careful, your tablet pen will no longer be calibrated with the available screen area.
I tried on my R10 (native resolution 1024x768) and all I could select was 800x600@ 60Hz.

No sound - no driver connected
Hi,
Simple.
- Use your back-up/ recovery disc.
- If not, connect to the internet and update your drive (through my pc - system info and device manager).
- Google your pc model (the name on the front/ side) and download from the pc companies website.
- Take it to a shop to have serviced (although it's not that hard really)

On my toshiba tablet,I forgot my pass word.how do I reset it?
Not sure about specifics on toshiba tablets, but wanted to suggest that on other tablets you can hold the up volume(sometimes others its volume down) and power button at sane time for about 10+seconds and a menu will pop up for a rebooting, safe mode, and factory restart(which erases and reboots from scratch) worth a shot.. Yet, be careful what you select if it works.. Don't want you to erase stuff if you don't want to.... And btw most tablets have a little pin size hole either under the camera lense or on side that something like a paper clip can push a reset button... But don't think that helps with password.. Just if it freezes up and won't shut down... Good luck.. Sorry if this doesn't help...
