No sound out of toshiba lap top
No, you need to install the sound drivers. They have got deleted, maybe because of your mistake or reinstallation of Windows.
Go to your manufacturer's site and search for the drivers for your model. You can download the sound drivers and install it. All done.

Touch screen
You'll need to go to the Device Manager and look for HID (Human Interface Devices) on the list. You'll need to find one of the devices that pertains to the Touch Screen feature. This usually has the word "Wacom" on it. Right click on the device and choose "Disable"

Toshiba satellite 1115-S103 I can't boot up
It seems like your computer is booting from the network. This means that it is not detecting the Hard Drive. This error shows up when the hard drive is already busted or is not working anymore. You'll need to call toshiba for repairs or just get a brand new hard drive and install it yourself. It's pretty simple.

SATELLITE M35X-S329 sartup problem and freezes
I worked on one of these a few months back, it about drove me the nuthouse!!!!!!! after some long hours of going over every chip and connection in that laptop, and by now a couple more gray hairs, I started my search for help. It turns out there was a class action law suit for this product (not sure now on date) but I'm sure of the M35X. There is a issue with stress fractures in the motherboard, along with a couple of bad soldering connections on the board as well. This one I was working on was so strange it even started to boot as I had the HD half way out of the machine and no battery!!! Sounds like you need a new board, sorry! Just make sure if you do, get a good warranty and extend it!

DSL Connection
Are you trying to connect wirelessly or connecting directly to the modem? Have you added any new software or hardware within those past 3 days? There may be a conflict if you installed something new. For hardware - check Device Manager for any yellow icons for conflicts. if you installed software, delete it and see if that solves your problem. Remember to back up anything that is important from new software that you recently installed.

Yurning up volume
I'm going to make an assumption (assume=*** of u & me) that you are dealing with an Intel/Win machine.
If not, forget everything I wrote here.
It's helpful if you mention what your system and OS is.
You will need to click or double click on the speaker symbol on the task bar; if organized as common, it will be on the right.
On Win XP, a single click opens only the voulume control, double click gives you a detailed panel (different audio cards/chips look different since this is a software function) that allows you to control the level of different inputs or file types.
The presence of a speaker symbol on the escape button is kind of puzzling but may be a function of an extended keyboard that requires a manufacturer's device driver to be loaded when you boot.
That may not be loading.
(Some icons may require double clicks-)
If yes, then click on the Start menu, select Control Panel, then Sounds & Audio devices (or similar), this will show you if the sound is muted and let you select default volume level and tell you whose audio is installed.
If it looks OK, close the window and then click on the System icon, then Hardware, finally Device Manager.
Check the list for open folders that involve sound devices for any red 'X' on functions.
If you find one, then something hasn't been installed or turned on and since we don't know the exact system you have, it may require different methods of 'fixing' the problem and then you will need a friendly nerd nearby to help you.

Need a manuel for a210/a215 series
Is your laptop connected to a printer? Is the printer working? I will assume your answers are "yes".
Have you downloaded the "manual"? Or is it simply listed as a document on your computer? Is it a word or PDF file? Again I will assume your answer is "yes" and it is either a "word" or PDF file. If not download the document from the Toshiba support website to an easy to find location on your computer.
Either way, open the document (manual).
Either using the "printer" icon located along the top of the document or click on "file" and you will see "print" in the drop down menu. Either way "Click" on it and your document will be printed. It may "open" another window verifying which printer to use. Simply make sure the printer you want is high lighted and follow the prompts. Make sure you have enough paper in the printer if it is a large file.
You can also drag the document to your printer icon and it to will achieve the same results.
It's that simple. Good luck and happy reading your manual.

Toshiba Satellite 1905
First, try pluging in an exteral mic to check the mic itself is not broke. Next Go to the device manager to check for driver problems (control panel, system, Hardware look for yellow ?'s) Check control panel, Sounds and Audio, audio, sound recording, volume. There are just too many ways to mess with the sound settings, and they often seem to just mute themselves!
Good luck
