TOSHIBA SATELLITE 1805-S274 BATTERY CHANGING
You cant really mess anything up there should be some kind of locking tabs on the bottom that are holding the battery. just release them and slide the battery out. If the Battery is mounted on the side look for the same thing. after that just put the new one in and you should be good to go.

My toshiba 1805-s74 will not turn on
Hi Russ,
Sometimes a laptop will appear in a ghost state, not off, or on if you sometimes shut it down, but close the lid too fast. Try pressing and holding the power button for 5-10 seconds. This should turn it off completely. Then give it a few more seconds and press the power button again to turn it back on.
Hope this helps!

Shutting off
Make sure you can hear your fan on boot up as it should start immediately, if not cooling problem down to fan, if it does check that the vents on side and underneath are'nt blocked with dust, hoover with attachment gently.
if still persists, as long as you have'nt tried to speed up processor in settings, then your processor is overheating causing shutdown, and a pc repair shop is only answer, although probably cheaper purchasing a more new upto date laptop.

Scrolling problem
It's likely to be a drivers problem rather than a card problem. When for some reason the Microsoft VGA driver gets loaded instead of the proper display driver, all the acceleration functions of the card are disabled. This can lead to the hiccupy scrolling you're referring to.
From control panel, go into display and see if your monitor is on either "(unknown device)" or "VGA compatible display adapter". Both indicate that Windows has forgotten the driver. If this is the case, go to Toshiba's website and redownload the driver for your machine, and that should resolve the problem,

My 1805 is running slow.
It sounds as if you may have spyware of sorts running on your computer slowing it down, possibly a virus or just too many programs running in the background. What are you running as far as Anti-Virus and is that software current (up to date)? You can try some Free downloads to look for and remove that junk from your computer... we use
www.superantispyware.com to fix and remove any spyware, malware, trojans, etc. from our PC's. Also, turn off as many programs running in the background as possible and make sure if your on a network (home or office) that is is secured. So that no one outside can piggy back off of you.

Need solution
This sounds like an overheating problem to me. Try powering down the laptop, and then blowing the fans out with canned air.

CD Rom drive
it may be a problem with your autorun, click the link below and install and run the wizard.
If still no luck i'm afraid your drive is failing to read the discs and is faulty, assuming you are having the same trouble with other discs.

Japanese Visa Application with COE denied. Why?
How to Get Employment Security With Correct Japan Work Visa Japan is no different from other developing nations whereby grass seems greener on its side of the pasture. It attracts its fair share of foreign businesses as well as nationals seeking to work within its lands. Albeit many adhere to immigration procedures, some choose to test their limits on the basis of ignorance or defiance. By understanding the different types of work visa in Japan, it assures its foreign workers a continual stream of income with no threat of arrest and deportation. Visa simply infers the status of residence. Citizens obviously have no need of it as they automatically satisfy qualifications to freely reside in their country of birth. As for those of alien status who wish to join the local workforce, there should be a category to match one's requirement. Since most countries strive to improve the overall quality of life, professionals are generally welcomed to contribute knowledge and skill. Unskilled labor is normally not granted a visa to avoid flooding and dilution of the workforce. The visa is awarded in accordance to one's area of expertise. Supported with proof of relevant experience, it is based on the field of involvement whilst working in the country. In the event one's work scope changes from one expertise to another, it is essential to apply for a visa under the new circumstances. Different types of work visa in Japan also apply to foreign companies seeking to conduct local business. Domestic companies based abroad wishing to set up a local point of presence need to provide supporting documents to justify internal transfer of foreign workers. Governmental staff for diplomatic duties is assigned a category for legal residence. Over and above the general groupings, designated activities also garner approval from the authorities. Domestic service for non-native residents and citizens of certain nations on working holidays fall into this category of working visa. This, by no means, is the end of the list as it is best to consult the authorities on which visa serves best.Click Here For More Details: http://japanjobandvisaservice.com/blog/change-your-luck-when-apply-work-visa

How can a fix error code oxcoooooof
Just restore your system from a backup taken before the error code started.
If you have no backup then you need to format your hard disk and do a complete reinstall of all your software.
