My qosmio f15 av201 no

Have you tried downloading the most recent driver from the Toshiba support site? The site can be found here: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp Select your laptop's make and model, and look for the category "Driver" and "Sound". There should be a link to download the ADI WDM Audio Driver. Install that driver on your system and reboot.

I forget the bios paswword

Hello,

There is a solution for your problem,

you have to remove *********** board battery cell from your laptop & than start your laptop once.

after that you shutdown your laptop & than you fix your battery again in your laptop's motherboard.

after that it will not ask you for any password.

Thanks

Please can you try the following

Remove battery
Remove wall charger
Press and hold the power button down on the laptop fro 30 seconds
Plug in wall charger and power up the laptop
After approx 5 minutes slot in the battery and see if the issue occurs again

If it does then from the description it would seem the laptop is overheating, so plase can you ensure there is plenty of ventalltion around the laptop and if it still continues you will need to book laptop into a reputable PC shop to swa out the heatsink

Laptop screen and external screen have lost color

In my opinion if you have black and white screen internal and external screen while booting and while you are into windows desktop you have a faulty graphic card. Common fault on toshiba laptops.
Actualy the reason for their sales drops dramaticaly in the past few years ;)

Scree Black and white

Please update your version of Windows if you are a Windows user. Some of the video drivers might have been outdated.

Also, this could be a sign of a hardware malfunction which requires repair. Try check the driver update first if it solves the problem.

Toshiba Qosmio f15 - AV2

This is a common problem with laptops that haven't been thoughly cleaned in a while.
The first thing I do with these when I get them in the shop is to strip them down and clean the fins and the heatsink. Next I make sure the fan is working properly and replace it with an OEM unit.
Note: I havent seen an aftermarket fan match the quality of OEM for Laptops yet.
Finally I finish with some real quality heatsink compound and put it all back together.
With proper cooling we can now see whether or not we have some real problems.
Your hard drive could be toast due to the heat and it could be a compounded problem. However I have seen some perk up and run just fine after the cooling fan has been fixed.

My laptop wont turn on

When you boot up the Toshiba and it appears to boot up and the hard disk LED light flashes but you get a black screen then the problem is a back-light fault. This is caused by a faulty inverter or a faulty CCFL lamp. Please click on this link and follow my instructions :-

Media center unable to open messenger

The problem can not and will not be solved by a reinstall of the operating system or a reinstall of messenger. The issue comes from a security update from Microsoft. Go to this link to a blog written by a member of the microsoft Media Center Security Team, it has a couple of easy solutions to the problem. Click on the Registry fix downloads for whatever option you want to use. The fix, in a nutshell, is to either ban the security update from media center OR to stop messenger from being used in media center. Personally, I have no need for messenger let alone using it in media center. Good luck!
