What is the largest mb sd card the kodak dcs pro
Hello!
Seems the DCS PRO/n do not handel SD cards with HC capabilitys. So the largest SD cars that there is i 4GB. Problems is to find such a card.
In reallity 2GB is possible.
I recomend You to obtain a CF card instead. I use a 16GB CF and it work like a charm.
I suppose the DCS 14/n work the same way.

Kodak DCS 14n freezes, capture error, or forgets firmware version
Did you ever solve the problem? I had the same problems; the Kodak is still lyng around since 2-3 years. I bought a Nikon D3 instead but I'm not satisfied about the colours and the brightness of the D3. I'm seriously thinking about either repaairing my Kodak or buyin one again...
Color Problems
I know this contribution might be late, but try to avoid using the auto white balance. Use a tungsten mode and test each of its compensations until you get the desired result. I haven't had a similar problem on the 14n, but my D100 always places a magenta cast on white when shooting auto WB. I learned how to adapt the other WB modes to any situation.
Resolution Problem
If you are shooting with it on Jpeg that is about the correct size for you file. Even on Jpeg it should look way better then the S1 if not someting is wrong for sure. what are you exact settings.
Capture Error
This is somewhat of a long-shot, but try formatting both of your cards in your camera. I once bought a digital camera and tore my hair out with similar symptoms until I formatted the card in the camera. If the problem persists, I'd call Kodak. Good luck!!
Kodak Easyshare Z740 turns off while trying to take pictures constantly
There are a few possible reasons why your Kodak Easyshare Z740 camera might be turning off while you are trying to take pictures:
- The battery might be low or dead. Try replacing the battery with a fully charged one to see if this fixes the issue.
- There might be a problem with the camera's power supply. Try cleaning the battery contacts and charging the battery to see if this fixes the issue.
- There might be a problem with the camera's firmware. Try updating the firmware to see if this fixes the issue.
- There might be a problem with the camera's hardware. If the camera is still under warranty, you should contact Kodak for service. If the camera is not under warranty, you may need to take it to a repair shop to have it fixed.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
