The software will not upload on my windows 7 home

If you mean "install" instead of upload, then try installing using windows XP compatible environment. Right click on the installer program and select PROPERTIES select the COMPATIBILITY tab tick RUN THE PROGRAM ... select WINDOWS XP (SERVICE PACK 3) click OK If you mean "download", then try a different browser, or the link may be a dead link. If you are just downloading the photos and movies from the camera, you can simply (with the camera off) remove the SD card and place it into a card reader on your computer. Please follow the normal practice of "ejecting" the card before removing it from the reader, or the reader from your computer.

I can't record longer on my easy share cx7300 camera

you can't.... it records only "video clips" without sound, maximum length of recording is 30 seconds...... and the quality is very poor, you'd be better off using an older camera-phone.

What type USB cable needed to offload pics

You don't need a USB cable. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Can't find original software for Kodak EasyShare CX7300 camera

You don't need any special software. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Windows Photo Gallery or Picasa.

Lcd turns off

Hi,You probably have a malfunctioning charging unit, a bad battery, or a defective display,Suggestions:
  1. Borrow a compatible charger and fully charge the battery.
  2. Install a new battery and see if the problem persists,
  3. Replace the display though it's it's and expensive procedure for such an old camera. It will be much cheaper to go on eBay and upgrade your Kodak EasyShare CX7300 Digital Camera.

I would like to format a memory card for Kodak

This can usually be done once the card is installed into the camera. There should be a way to FORMAT DISK with your camera settings. It is usually under MENU, Then you may see some icon with tools, scroll to that and then you should find FORMAT. Under FORMAT, you should be able to format your new memory card.

Hope this helps!
