talk with a service agent , but by design the only way lint can get out of the unit is from a badly fitted lint filter
the air is blown into the dryer tub and exits through the filter to the vents
there may be a recall on the units so calling and talking will get an exact answer
Problems could be related to defective control board or control panel as it is very common issue with these new dryers with to much electronics and made to fail parts
I'm glad I was able to help you. Hopefully you can return the help regarding my assitance on the chat session for your dryer.
For some reason your accepting my solution has not been recorded although you rated the help as 4 thumbs up...my account shows the solution was rejected.
Perhaps you can log in again and amend the error, as much as I like to help with the chat sessions, it is based on customers honoring the system and us experts providing help on the premise of getting paid.
The drier works fine and heats during the cycle and then when the cycle is over the heat quits but the drier keeps running? Does it shut off when you open the door?
open the door.........hold drum at the top and see if it lifts up a bit................if it does.......the bearing on the drum will be knackerd..............cheers
If you live in North or South America - check the break first - make sure that half of it is not tripped causing only 110 volts (which will run the machine and motor) and not 220 volt (which the element needs to heat. Then check this video to troubleshoot element.
Hello Pam, Take the lint screen over to the sink and gently wash it in dish soap and water. Let it dry and try it. Sometimes the small holes in the lint screen plug up from using fabric softener and/or fabric softener sheets. It doesn't take much to restrict the airflow through the lint screen.
Suggest you start by checking the electric circuit to the dryer. Make sure that you have approximately 210 volts to the outlet. Chances are that the breaker feeding the circuit or a connection in the circuit has gone bad. Probably need an electrician to repair.
Remove the top unplug unit first. There will be 4 screws the hold the control panel on remove them then tilt panel towards you and pull up .You will find 4 more screws above the door remove them and open door and remove two more screws below the filter on the outside now remove front and lift up you will see the item remove it and put it back together.
