Press and hold the pinhole RESET button at the back of the
router with the power ON for 20 secs. then release the RESET button.
To connect to your wireless router, the router's wireless settings needs to be
configured with the SSID, encryption etc. and also the wireless cards in all
the laptops/computers needs to be configured with these router's wireless
settings. Then the laptops/desktop computers can communicate with your wireless

You should block it by keywords. Please re-do your Access and Restrictions settings. By the way, you should do it on the router's Setup Page.

How to log into mybrouter
Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Broadband Router
- Begin setup of your Linksys Wireless Router by first plugging in the
power. Give it 10 seconds or so to initialize and then plug an ethernet
cable into your wall jack and into the port on the back of the router
marked Internet. Next get another ethernet cable and plug one end
into your laptop and the other into one of the ports labeled 1-4 on the
router. Your computer is now properly connected to the router to begin
its setup and configuration.
- Next open a web browser window on the connected computer and type http://192.168.1.1
into the address bar and press enter. A window will pop up prompting
you for a username and password to access the configuration page for
your router. Enter admin for both the username and password.

Message linmited access and cannot connect
Limited connectivity If you get a 'Limited connectivity" on you wireless connection on your laptop, it means that the wireless card on your laptop probably did not get an IP address from the wireless router. To fix this problem, right click on the wireless icon on the Task bar and then click Repair. This will force the wireless router to issue a IP address to the wireless card on the laptop.

Intel ProSet Wifi software can't connect to network
You need to manually add the network using your intel pro set utility. Or just switch to wzc.(wireless zero configuration). How to do it? just click start - go to run - type in services.msc - then look for wireless zero configuration on the list - right click on it then click start.
Then look for the wireless network connection icon on the system tray (that's in the bottom right hand corner of your screen). right click on it then select view available wireless network.
note: if you'll be getting the message "windows could not configure..." click change the order of preferred networks(that's in the same window where you're getting that message) then check the box that says "use windows to configure my wireless network settings" then click ok. after that go back to view available wireless networks then you should see your network now.
note: if you're using a corporate laptop where you don't have admin rights on it you need to use the intel pro

Forgot password for router
You'll need to perform a "Factory Reset" on the (your Linksys) router. You do this by getting a paper-clip and put it through the very small hole, and slightly push & hold in place for 3 to 5 seconds. While doing so, you'll notice the LED's blink which is normal. Then, power OFF the router, power back ON, and your user-name & /password will be the smae: admin, admin. ... :o) Write it down siomewhere &/or, if you change it.

Forgot password for my router
On the back of your router there is a very small reset button. Hold the button down with a pen for about 25 seconds. This will reset the router to the original password. Now the password should be either blank or "admin" (without the quotations) To log on to your router and change the settings you can type your gateway ip address into the address bar in your internet browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.) Your gateway ip address is usually 192.168.1.1 but it may vary. You can search the internet for "what is my gateway ip adress?" to find out how to get it. For more computer related help you can also visit
