Xerox Phaser 8550DP Printer - Page 7 Questions & Answers
What is a engine sensor on a Xerox phaser 7600
Unfortunately, your sensor failure will require a replacement from a Xerox technician. You will have to call Xerox or the company you purchased the equipment from to get this resolved.
best way to describe it would be to compare to a cars engine, if your starter fails to work the engine won't run, same for your Xerox device the sensor tells the engine to run.... :o(
This is a major hardware failure on your device.
Vignette printing problmes on xerox 550
It's a bit since I last saw this problem.
I would need a lot more detail to get to the bottom of your problem.
if you have been able to print out the Vignettes before then you can eliminate software, firmware & print driver.
You might have a problem with the laser units, black/cyan or magenta/yellow, the window underneath could be dirty.
If all this is a bit too daunting then you got to get hold of Xerox.
Sorry,
Goodluck.
What does a second transfer bias roll do
It simply drives the transfer belt which is required to lay the image down on the paper.
Depending on which Xerox product you have would depend on whether a service tech is required to replace one that has failed or whether it is a roller that can be easily replaced by a non tech saavy individual.
I hope this helps...
Phaser 8860 prints only on left side of the paper, leaves perfect image on drum of right side.
Dear
As per your statement the image formation on drum is ok but prints partial on paper.
The image from the drum is picked by ITB (Inter Transfer Belt) which is a thin plastic like material and the paper passes in between the transfer roller and ITB.
If the ITB unit is not properly aligned to the transfer roller or to the drum the problem will occur as you mentioned. Also check the transfer roller and it contact path.
Thanks.

What does it mean when my printer say output tray is full?
Please specify which model you have for a more complete answer. But the basic answer is that when the paper exits the machine and falls in the bin it hits a paper exit sensor. As the paper piles up it will eventually hit the paper full actuator and then energize the paper full sensor. Check to see that the paper full actuator is intact and not broken or missing.
Fix error code on phaser 5500
That error means wrong toner installed. Are you using OEM toner? If it's not the toner it's the Crum board that recognized the toner, part number 160K95831.
Xerox 4510 RAM Error
Did you use OEM Xerox memory? Xerox is notorious for not working with 3rd party memory. If the memory is not the error, the problem will be the main board, part number 960K41801
Fix a xerox 6350DT
If you have a white stripe in only one color, then you might have a bad developer. Each color has its own developer
116-2008-00 Yellow
116-2009-00 Magenta
116-2010-00 Cyan
116-2011-00 Black
Changing the developer is not super easy. You'd have to remove the left cover, HV Power Supply board, then remove Image Unit and the Developer Frame, where all the Developers are mounted. Detach the feed hose for the Developer you want to change and release the Developer's 2 spring clips.
The attached photo shows old developers which have dead spots that would cause the missing stripes on prints.

What model are you refering to ?
If this is a 74xx series model then it means that "Toner C CRUM Not In Position" That means that the black toner cartridge is not seating properly in position or the CRUM (counter chip) on the cartridge is missing or not in position. Easyest way to check is to replace black toner cartridge with a new one. The rest requires a service call.
