Roland Boss RC-20XL Loop Station Twin Pedal Questions & Answers
How to repair fried pedal ?
you throw it away and buy a new one. seriously. they're not worth getting into. with layered boards. if you have the expertise to identify the problem. you wouldn't be asking. - not an insult. they are just very problematic. one repair will lead to another. just keeps going.
I have a RC-20 xl
It is strange that it comes on when you plug into the OUTPUT... It should come on when you plug into the INPUT... could you have the jacks/plugs backwards? If cables are backwards, the bypass function will still pass your guitar backwards through the controls. You would NOT be the first person to mistake the labelling of input and output. There may be another problem of course, but do check the in's and out's. The fading out of the LED's is NORMAL when power is removed due to storage of the power by capacitors internally that bleed off.
Hi. Can I use the second pedal on my Roland BK5 to scale up the key one semitone at a time?
Yes, you can use the second pedal on a Roland BK-5 keyboard to transpose the key of the music that you are playing up or down by a semitone at a time. To do this, you will need to press and hold the second pedal while playing the keyboard. You can also use the transpose function in the settings menu of the BK-5 to adjust the key of the music that you are playing by a specific number of semitones.

I need a circuit diagram for a Roland MA-15D speaker please?
It's a Chinese made Roland and no service information is available as when a fault is found the main board is replaced, eliminating the need for service information.
I would check that it is a stereo out jack and not mono. If it is a stereo out, check that both input phonos work. If they do, replace the faulty socket or damaged pcboard.
