To remove the username and password of your router you just need to reset it. Here is how to reset it:

Not sure which password you want to set up. The main default password for NetGear is "password". You can change that to about anything you want. puede que haya un falla con la fuente de poder, con la tarjeta madre o con la toma de corriente en donde se esta conectando el router.
intenta conectar el router en otra toma de corriente espera algunas horas y vuelve a intentar.. tengo un router dlink que a veces deja de prender y despues de algunas horas de estar desconectado al reconectarse vuelve a funcionar, no es normal pero pueda que la condicion o el fallo solo sea temporal
