Hi I would recommend you go here:- Trust Digital Lifestyle Accessories Webcam If you scroll down the page you will find "Downloads" and under this heading you can find drivers, manuals etc which you can download to your computer and install. The only difficulty you may come across is that I didn't see a driver for Windows 8 there. Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya Cheers

I don't really know but the mike only lets you to be heard by the other party, it dosn't actually "record" (same as mike on cell phone)
