My Humax Duovisio PVR-9200T often freezes
Remove the Aerial.
Switch on or if it's frozen switch off at the mains and on again.
Press Menu
Installation and enter password - 0000
Select 'Default Setting' and OK
Select 'YES' and OK to restore all settings to factory default.
Confirm again to start loading, enter the password again and it will
start scanning for channels but won't find any.
Replace the aerial and press OK to rescan and now it will find channels.
On completion press SAVE then EXIT on your keypad.
You won't lose any saved programmes but you will have to re-schedule
your recordings.

It may be that the Tivo has gone south. One option would be to send the Tivo in for service. Often times, the first thing to fail is the hard drive which could be causing your problem. To fix this, you could either purchase an upgrade kit with the Tivo software preloaded or purchase a new drive and configure and install the software yourself. Your service subscription is tied to the box id, not the hard drive.
You can find out more inforamtion on www.tivocommunity.com or look specifically for the hinsdale howto which talks about upgrading the tivo. If this is the problem, the advantage is that you may come out with a Tivo with more storage. If the hard drive is not the problem, this will be of no use.
Humax 5000t does not find HD channels when scanning

Not OUR manual, we are Fixya dot com, we are nothing to do with Humax, we are not who you think we are.
First, fully disconnect all devices from mains power for 15 minutes, router, television and the Humax Box. Plug in the router first, then the Humax and finally the television. It will take about 15 minutes for them all to come back online after the reset and all recognise each other. This is called a 'Power Cycle' and reloads all the software and connections. Then try again.
If that doesn't fix it, you can fully Factory Reset the Humax unit, or you can just go into Settings and put the router settings back in SSID and Password.
