How do I get the camera to read sd card?

Not sure what camera you have, but some camera manufacturers (like Canon) say you should format the SD card by the camera: insert the SD card, go to the menu and find the Format function and let it do its job - it usually very fast. On Canon it creates a few directories where it later store the images/video.

Www kodak com go support

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

If i format the memory card will photos be erased?

Yes. Formatting the memory card erases everything on the card. It should be done periodically to clean things up, usually each time after you download your pictures to your computer.

When having bright lights on a dark background, you can have horizontal lines. That is supposed to be normal. but the camera should give good pictures in bright light. Try setting the camera in automatic. most of the time it is the green camera loge on the mail dial.

I have a kodak digital camera and I had it in my backpack bag with a icepack .

If the icepack caused condense in the camera, the moist can have damaged the electronics. Try drying it in a bag of rice and before you continue, charge the battery. If it does not work, start saving for a new camera. Sorry.

Digital camera batteries go bad?

Yes the can go bad. I still have 9 year old Kodak lithium batteries in good condition, nut I know sometimes my rechargeable batteries last no longer then a year. It is a shame that some camera brands only give a 90 day warranty on the batteries. To keep your rechargeable batteries in a good condition, give them a charge at least every 3 months. Or always a day before you need the camera. Never try to use speed chargers. I still have a charger capable of charging full within 15 minutes. The barrettes are hot, and when charged that way after 10 or 20 times they are dead. Just use the charger that came with your camera. But if you only can shoot a few shote with your battery, buy a new battery.

How to erase internal memory on Easy Share 182

If you haven't got a removeable memory card the camera saves automatically to the internal memory and because this is very small it fills very quickly and there is nothing you can do about this other than installing a card. If you have a memory card installed then check your settings to ensure it saves automatically to this external memory. Go to the kodak website and download a free manual if you don't already have one.

Why is camera stuck on "set date and time"?

You need to say which model number you have. Usually you use the center toggle to move the cursor to a choice, then press it in to make the choice. The camera should work whether you choose a date or ignore the message.
