Canon EOS 400d won't power on.

Good Day Remove and re-insert the batteries. Might be related to the non-standard accessories or batteries or the non-standard remote connected. Also you can try remove your lens and make sure that the connection is clean, be careful not to touch any of the surface inside the camera as this may lead to damage, if there is no dust or dirt where the lens connects to the camera I suggest you take it to you local dealer for assessment. Hope you find a solution here

My canon SX720HS takes three or four pix each time i click the shutter, and i only want one click for one picture...how do i get one per picture per click?

The "Consecutive" shutter release setting is the default for Sports Mode so if you are using that you'll have to just practice a lighter touch on the button. Otherwise, and this is from memory, press "Menu" find "Drive" or a little icon that looks like a small stack of pictures and switch the setting to "S" for Single.

My canon 60d inbuilt flash won't raise or pop up anymore...

This may mean that either the catch or spring has broken. Expensive to get repaired - either raise the flash manually, or use an external flash unit in the hotshoe.

Hi. How do I use the settings on my. Canon PowerShot Sx60 HS

You basically decide on the kind of photo you want to take, then follow the instructions in the manual to achieve those results, changing them if necessary to improve the image.

How do i Change DPI in Canon 6D Camera

You don't. Dots per inch (dpi) is an output parameter when printing your pictures. It's often determined by the printer and its driver. The camera has no idea what printer(s) you are using. Since it has to put something in the dpi field, it selects 72. Most cameras do the same. The dpi will change depending on the size of the print. You can change the dpi field using any good photo editing program.

Can i have the fungus on my canon powershot sx150 lens removed and cleaned

Canon will not fix it unless still under warranty. Unfortunately, not worth paying to have it cleaned professionally because most techs including Canon charge a minimum of $75. That’s more than the camera is worth. If you are ambitious and want to disassemble the lens yourself, fungus can be cleaned with a weak vinegar-water solution. However, if the fungus is old it has already damaged the lens coating. If it is just a tiny speck, better to expose it to direct sunlight that will kill the mold. The speck will remain but not grow.

I have a Macbook Pro laptop, OSX 10.9.5. The iPhoto software will not download raw files from my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS50 digital camera. iPhoto downloads the jpeg files fine.

Sadly the likelihood is now that iPhoto is deprecated, there's going to be no way to do it directly. However, you could try using Adobe's DNG Converter software (free download - yay!) and then see if iPhoto will import those. Because raw files differ from camera to camera and manufacturer to manufacturer, software companies periodically issue new raw interpreters for their photo software. Since iPhoto is defunct, Apple aren't doing this any more. Have you tried Apple's Photos instead? You may need to do a system update to achieve this as 10.9.5 is pretty old now.

After a manual for canon 60 it appears to be a colour pass i cannot identify exactly what it is it uses a fiery server zxp 01 can anyone help

Amazingly, I can not even find an image of this device even at the canon support sites. I have encountered an image of a purported support service manual covering the z90 as well as the z60 but the links tend to point to suspicious sources which might or might not bilk you. I can only suggest you contact canon support in the UK to see if they might provide some information. The Canon support sites do not even offer a brochure or FAQ about such. What little information I encounter suggests the machine pre-dated Windows 7 and seems to have used 32 bit software, at least originally. You might have to search forums for information about this device if Canon is unresponsive. I can't find out enough about it to write anything else possibly useful. There do seem to be other models of this ColorPass device mentioned at the Canon sites. Sorry.

Canon Powershot sx120 ... I have sound on my camera when I playback a movie, but not on the computer. Is there a setting I need to use that would transfer the sound as well?

You've got it on Time Lapse video. Turn on, slide to video, press func. set button, toggle to standard instead of time lapse. Always check your owners manual.

Memory card Canon a520 full and can see images in camera but when I try to download to win 10 computer - the screen pops up to transfer images but says card has no info -

Are you using the canon software to download the images and downloading the images through the camera not a disk reader. Sometimes the computer will recognise your camera as a HDD when using the canon software by connecting your camera to the computer with a USB lead. Worth a try.
