Adjust jubilee bracelet

You bend it , literally take hold of the inside arch and bend it with your hands in not out this shortens the , the length and helps it close .

SETTING DATE JUST ROLEX

After you unscrew the crown it is already in winding position. If you pull the crown, it will go to the date setting position. Further pull of crown will set it in time setting position. Try to pull the crown till you get it in correct date setting position and change the desired date. Do not use the date setting between 10pm - 2am, as this can damage date mechanism. The best way is to pull out crown to the time setting position and set the time to 6.30(anytime) and then push the crown in to date setting position and change the date to the previous day's date. Then again pull the crown out to the time setting position and advance hands forwards (clock wise) till hands pass 12.00 (midnight) and the date changes automatically to the desired one, then adjust the time, push the crown fully in and screw the crown on.

Watch stopped last night. I tried rewinding watch numerous times but nothing happened.

The watch needs to be serviced. Its a great watch and the service wont be cheap but you will get it back in wonderful shape. A good repair shop can do this work, try a yelp search in your area.

Whirring noise inside rolex oyster

Some movement noise is ok, however it may be time for a service - Take it to any Rolex re-seller that offers repair or to any good timepiece service center. If its a vintage piece i would recommend sending it to Rolex, paying the extra cost to receive the watch with full Rolex repair documents and service history. The Rolex web site has information on this. Also this company does a fine job on Rolex repair. https://www.bobswatches.com/rolex-repair-service

Ive wound watch about 40 times it runs for about 3 minutes then stops again

I have the same watch 20 years old. I cannot wind this watch. it is self winding , which is generated by arm or wrist movement. i purchased a box for times I won't be wearing. Will rotate watch 5 minutes every hour ( belt driven- only use that other winders say gear my experience is belt drive more reliable) if you have to wind this watch I would question if it is real Rolex.

Why doesn't it keep running?

It needs to be worn to self wind. I actually bought a winding box so I put watch away it will be turned as if on your wrist. These vary and having owned a couple of winders I chose one that is belt driven, found on Amazon. if you wear it to sleep it may wind down. Playing video games ,little wrist motion, may find it stopped. you mentioned someone to.d you it was fully wound! How can they tell. I cannot wind mine if yours needs winding from stem you may not have real Rollex.

Checking serial number

Luke, the serial number is located between the lugs at the 6 marker. You need to remove the wristband at that point to see it. The model number is located at the 12 marker.

Rolex st6 23zuan original or fake??

This is the hint regardless of Rolex. Look at the second hand and watch the motion! Does it sweep or tick? If it ticks it is battery operated watch knockoff. Rolex is a self winding watch thus the second hand sweeps does not click each second.

Is the serial number 78488 an authentic number for a rolex datona

Serial numbers are used by Rolex to track the production of their watches, but there's no way to determine the authenticity of a Rolex watch solely based on its serial number. To determine the authenticity of a Rolex watch, there are several factors that need to be taken into account, including the design, materials, movement, and other elements. Additionally, Rolex has strict quality control standards and only sells their watches through authorized dealers, so it is recommended to purchase a Rolex from a reputable dealer to ensure that the watch is authentic. That being said, it's possible to verify the authenticity of a Rolex watch by contacting Rolex and providing the serial number and other details about the watch. They will be able to tell you whether the watch is genuine or not.

Can I take the back off a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Watch?

You can, but putting in back on and not cross threaded is a lot more difficult, plus it has a sealing gasket that need replacing. If you want to play with a $10,000 watch, fine. :>) Hold the watch firmly, turn the ball to the left until it starts to unscrew. Keep going until you can grip the back of the watch with your fingers and turn it some more. Pull the back off.

Hi hello can I asked here...I have a watch Rolex oyster perpetual datejust Geneva 18k

The simplest way to find out is to take it to a Rolex specialist repairer and ask them to look at it. They will know what small clues to look for to find out. Some of the clues could be inside the watch on the inside mechanism so a watch repairer will have the tools to open it correctly.

Mens Rolex Explorer. The no.

Its not unheard of depending on the age of the watch (you say you purchased it 16 months ago but it could be a 15 year old watch.) If it was a new Rolex watch you have a 5 year warranty, so it should cost you nothing. If it was a pre-owned Rolex you should have received a warranty from your jeweler, most of those are 2 years. If this is a watch with value, and one you will either hand down or at some point resell then sending an older watch to Rolex is the proper direction - save all the repair documents, with the original receipt and the box. A Rolex Explorer II in good condition in US is about $5k, so $380 for a repair, though high, is worth it. I would recommend that if you do send it to Rolex for this repair and it is an older watch have it serviced too. The watch is returned to you in perfect condition with fill documentation. Lastly, you need not to send it to Rolex at all. Any good watchmaker/repair jeweler can do this for less than $380US.
