You can then use the sd card slot on your computer, use the windows explorer on your computer to check for photos instead of the usb cable and download then to whatever folder you want.. Hi there follow the instruction below.

1**. Double click my computer then double click USB Video Device.
You can see your self then. If the USB Video Device not showing
there then you have to install the cam first.

2. Power On the laptop/PC & after ready your OS for work just put
your Webcam driver disk in DVD/CD RW/ROM. when its open, that
time just select webcam driver and install it as per your operating
system(Vista or XP). So do it, and after finish installation ,restart the
laptop. Your will see your cam is ready for use.
Then follow again the first instruction.**

3. When you confirm after viewing your self in cam , then stop it. Now login on messenger & click to connect the cam from messenger. If any doubt then then ask me a again. Thanks & waiting for your feed back.

Card error means the camera wants you to format the card in the camera, not the computer.

I am having the same problem - I think the camera may not be compatible with mac.  Have you looked for a mac download for the camera?

If memory card is full, just try to delete one picture and try to take a picture and check if it will be saved in the memory card.

There is a Delete All option.

Or if you want to, you may format the memory card and the pictures will be deleted.

The images are still on the card I would imagine Try these things. 1 if you are downloading via camera software as supplied on a disk Remove the software. 2.Try then to up load - Windows will find the camera all by its self. 3. thee that do work Huh thats strange Tell me what you do to transfer images. Seems like you are doing something the camera do not like.

The only solution that I found is to take off the battery from camera. After I reconnect the battery, the camera starts without any problem (lens are moving, LCD is on, AF is also on). The battery status is full.

be sure your lense and autofocus sensors are clean first thing.. then push the take picture button half way and it will autofocus. Pressing hte take picture button fully then will snap the picture.
