There are several possible causes for "memory card locked", "memory card error", or "no memory card". The most common cause is having the tiny slide switch on the side of the card in the wrong position. The second most common is trying to use a 4GB or higher SDHC card with an older camera made before SDHC format came out (note 2GB or less standard SD cards. These are very inexpensive these days, and are available on Amazon if your local store no longer carries them). Having gone over a month without a response to my query, I assume my suggestion to use a card reader eliminated the need for a driver.

The lens error is due to failure of the lens control system. You can remove battery and card replace battery and while switching on tap the lens hood on your hands so as to disengage any dirt or mechanism being struck.
Use some air to blow between the lens to dislodge any sand particles struck inside. If none of these works then you can think of taking consensus with the service centre.
get estimate before you decide. It will be good to have it checked at the service as you do not have to run around for spares.

if this is the only image that you get on display even in the view picture mode..it means that the display is faulty ..and need to be changed or at least to check the connection ribbon ...but if in any other mode it works it is a setting or firmware issue ...
try to get into main settings and reset it to the factory settings ..this way you will get rid of any odd settings that might cause this behavior...If after enabling the factory default settings ..and putting it in the normal mode it is still not working ..but the display works with other functions ..you will have to reinstall the firmware for it ..

There are a few things that you can try in this situation but be aware that sometimes the lens mechanism is so badly jammed that it will require a service repair.
