There are several .RF, RX, AUDIO, PRE-DRIVER, I will help you, just narrow it down to what you need to replace. three things you need to check the mic must be plug into radio, make sure that the radio is set to cb not pa,check your rf gain is turned all the way up and last of all check the antenna.Now that being said if the radio does not receive you might have to take it to a radio shop.

what happened that there is no RF gain?

is the face bubbled pulled away from face? if so need new el plate. if not then check the inverter for correct voltage.

look at where they were connected and solder new wire in.

it probably jumped freq. somehow. There is now manual or anything but a picture of this radio and a few tune up rv's but thats it.I have the exact same radio and it works fine If you can put it on an oscilloscope it should tell you right away what the problem is. Then try a frequency counter.

Make sure all allen screws are tight and whip is not either all the way down to the base or up to the top. If antenna is mounted; make sure that it has a good ground. Usually a linear amp will go between the radio and the antenna. Make sure all connections are tight. Tom

Sounds like high swr. If using a mag mount antenna; check for a proper ground by cleaning the antenna base and the place where you put the antenna. Any other antenna; check the place where the whip goes into the coil at base of the antenna. Make sure that antenna has good ground. Check continuity of the pl259. Make sure there is a good connection and no opens or shorts. Hope it helps. Tom
