In Thailand Cb radio users must use freq range

Thailand actually has three "CB" bands, the first is the same as the U.S. / CEPT (EU "European Community) band 26.965 - 27.405 MHz, the second is a 78MHz VHF mid CB band (I think its either 40 or 80 channels with FM mode) and then the 245.0000 - 245.9875 MHz VHF 80 channel band - apparently the law also stipulates that the 78MHz CBs must be yellow colored and the 245MHz CBs must be red colored. But yeah, 245MHz Thailand VHF CBs are very illegal in the United States.

Adjust the receive and turn

Then put a 40 watt modulator in line with a 400 watt amp. You will have an out put of 800 watts to the antenna. Make sure you have an antenna thats rated for it. Francis whip is a good one, Palamar, another good one.

No power to cb ?

If the fuse is O.K. it could be that the input diode is burned....this is to protect in case of the radio being hooked up powerwise the wires have been reversed. Usually RED is 12 Volt POS. If you open the radio look where the power cord comes in....you will see the diode and I found usually at the Right side of the chassis, that is right rear with component side up. It is usually burned and if you replace it you'll be in business ! ! Goo0d luck.

It will not turn on

check the power going to the power wires. for dc voltage. then if good check the fuse in power wire. if good check the ground for good connection. if good check to see if you have at least 5amps of dc pwr going into the radio. if good has the radio been hooked up backwards. or even just sparked ground or + wire, if so contact us for repairs. that could have blown the protection diode. and will not let the unit turn on. or may have a burnt trace on the board to the switch.

President mckinly ssb/am model with mb8719 pll chip.

It looks like you had some loose connections in that CB. you may want to also check for other cold solder joints throughout the units and touch them up with some solder. Might I suggest you use a desoldering tool and then just add new solder to the connection.

How to wire a Sadelta M3 to a Cobra 29 LTD Classic

I believe to wire a Sadelta M3 microphone to a Cobra 29 LTD Classic CB radio: The Sadelta M3 microphone has four wires: white, shield (bare wire), red, and black. The Cobra 29 LTD Classic CB radio's microphone jack also has four pins: Pin 1 (Audio), Pin 2 (Ground), Pin 3 (Transmit), and Pin 4 (Receive). To wire the Sadelta M3 to the Cobra 29 LTD Classic, you need to connect each wire from the microphone to its corresponding pin on the microphone jack. The white wire carries the audio signal from the microphone's element to the radio, the shield wire provides a ground connection, the red wire activates the radio's transmit function when the microphone is keyed, and the black wire is used for receive audio. Here are the specific steps to follow:
  1. Cut off the existing microphone plug on the Sadelta M3 microphone cord.
  2. Strip about 1/4 inch of insulation from each of the four wires in the Sadelta M3 microphone cord.
  3. Connect the wires to the pins on the microphone jack as follows:
  • White wire to Pin 1 (Audio)
  • Shield (bare wire) to Pin 2 (Ground)
  • Red wire to Pin 3 (Transmit)
  • Black wire to Pin 4 (Receive)
  1. Solder each wire to its corresponding pin on the microphone jack. You may want to use a multimeter to verify that each connection is solid and that there are no shorts or open circuits.
  2. Once you have soldered all the wires, test the microphone by speaking into it and checking that the radio's TX meter moves as you speak. Also, check that you can hear audio through the radio's speaker when receiving signals.
  3. If the microphone is working correctly, use heat shrink tubing or electrical tape to cover the soldered connections and provide strain relief for the wires.
Note that some microphones, including the Sadelta M3, may have additional features such as a built-in amplifier or power supply that require additional wiring.
