New computer, no printer installation disc how can i get the printer to operate

Put a new color cartridge in yesterday. First pages printed greens instead of blue. Now only prints pink and red. No other color or even black. I ran a test and it comes out ok.

Try cleaning the print head with something like isopropyl. I had a canon that did the same because the machine was fairly old, had a little use that lead to ink drying on the head and blocking the pransmission of the inks to paper. That may be the issue hopefully. Sometimes compatible cartridges cause problems because they are not correctly chipped.

Will not work with dell laptop

Hi

The key thing here is not the laptop, but rather the the software and the printer cable.

You do not say which operating system you use.

As long as the cable fits both devices and the Driver and installation disc is compatible with your operating system (this should be printed on the CD) and you have installed the drivers and applications correctly there should be no problem.

If you have lready adone all this then the printer may be faulty.

These problems could be due to the new cartridge in the printer. Try to insert a different known working cartridge, like your previous cartridge, to check if the new one is faulty. Also, make sure the USB cable is properly connected into the printer and to your computer.

Give it a good clean right through, including the print head with an appropriate material such as isopropyl. . Disconnect it from your PC, uNINSTALL THE SOFTWARE. Do a disk clean up and a disk defragmentation procedure,. Restart the PC and reinstall the software, that should clear the fault

Wifi light is orange

The colors of the WiFi indicator light show the network status of the printer.
  • Off means one of the following:
    • The printer is turned off or is powering up.
    • The printer is not connected to a wireless network and in power saver mode. In power saver mode, the power light pulses on and off.
    • The printer is connected to an ethernet network. Refer to the Quick Reference Guide to find out if your printer has ethernet capability.
  • Solid orange means one of the following:
    • The printer has not yet been configured for a wireless network.
    • The printer is configured for an ad hoc connection, but it is not currently communicating with another ad hoc device.
  • Blinking orange on the WiFi light means one of the following:
    • The printer is out of the range of the wireless access point (wireless router).
    • The printer is trying to communicate with the wireless access point but the wireless point is turned off or not working properly.
    • Either the configured printer of the wireless access point has been turned off and back on, or the printer is trying to establish communications with the network.
    • The wireless settings of the printer may no longer be valid.
  • Green means that the printer is connected to a wireless network and is ready for use.

Good afternoon. My Lexmark 792 printer shows error 956.02 at startup when adjusting colors, how can I solve it?

The 956.02 error on your Lexmark 792 printer indicates a system board issue.
