Kenwood KDC-MP628 CD Player - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
No sound from the cd and extended media but have sound from radio
If you have an amplifier connected to the radio, make sure the amp remote wire is connected to the blue/white wire and not the blue wire of the radio. The blue wire is for power antenna and is energized only when tuner is playing, not when cd or ext media is played, and therefore will shut your amp off when playing those sources.

Auxillary option not available in menu
Try putting the unit in standby via the "SRC" button FIRST..., then press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option and activate this....then press menu button again. When the unit is next switched on, you should have an "AUX" option accessible via the "SRC" button which will cycle through all of the availale modes ....standby-tuner-cd-aux etc etc.

Need to unlock my kenwood
You will need to visit an Authorized Dealer or service center for that product to get the unlock code reset. You can find a dealer listing on their website, or call them.

Cd player wont take cd,it spits the cd out every
try cleaning the face of the disc before you insert it,if it continues to do this, you have to check it with an engineer because this might require replacement of some internal mechanisms
