by now someone should have told you to disconnect the battery...press reset button...enter new security code...this should work if radio is not reported stolen because these paticular radios are used by satellite radio hams who like clean lines in there cars...excellent radios getting hard to find. had one ripped out of my car a kenwood sr700 and my only consolation is that it was a waste of time for the thief.

Anle function
Hi William,
The gear is proabaly slipping on the motors shaft. You will have to carefuly open up the head unit and get to the motor to see if it is a slipping gear or linkage broken. If it is the gear slipping on the motor shaft, then glue it back. Hopefully it is not damaged beyond repair.

Reset a Kenwood 8070 without a remote?
To reset a Kenwood 8070 receiver without a remote, you typically need to locate the reset button on the device itself. This button is often small and recessed, so you may need a paperclip or a similar tool to press it. Consult the user manual or look for the reset button near the power or input/output ports on the receiver. Once located, press and hold the reset button for a few seconds until you see the receiver reset. Keep in mind that this process may vary slightly depending on the specific model of the Kenwood 8070 receiver.

I have 2 mtx 12"woofers (8ohms each wired parallel to get to 4ohms) which Kenwood amp would be best to use: kac-7252 or kac-9104d?
The Kenwood KAC-7252 and KAC-9104D are both great amps, but they have different strengths and weaknesses. The KAC-7252 is a 5-channel amp that can output 75 watts per channel at 4 ohms. It also has a built-in crossover and time alignment, which can be helpful for getting the most out of your woofers. The KAC-9104D is a 4-channel amp that can output 100 watts per channel at 4 ohms. It also has a built-in subwoofer output, which can be used to power a separate subwoofer.
If you are looking for an amp that can power all of your speakers, the KAC-7252 is a great option. It is also a good choice if you want an amp with built-in crossover and time alignment. However, if you are looking for an amp that can power a subwoofer, the KAC-9104D is a better choice. It is also a good choice if you want an amp with more power output.
Ultimately, the best amp for you will depend on your specific needs and budget. If you are not sure which amp is right for you, it is always a good idea to consult with a professional car audio installer.
Here is a more detailed comparison of the two amps:
Kenwood KAC-7252
- 5-channel amp
- 75 watts per channel at 4 ohms
- Built-in crossover and time alignment
- MSRP: $399
Kenwood KAC-9104D
- 4-channel amp
- 100 watts per channel at 4 ohms
- Built-in subwoofer output
- MSRP: $499
I hope this helps!
