Kenwood KRF-V5060D Receiver Questions & Answers
Sounds ok but not dialogue...
It sounds to me like you are using the receiver in surround sound mode and the click you hear is the center channel turning off. If you have another center channel speaker, try swapping that for the one you are currently using. If that doesn't fix the issue, then try replacing the speaker wire. If that still doesn't fix it, then the issue is probably inside the receiver and may be either an output transistor that is failing when hot or an electrolytic capacitor that allows too much DC offset when hot.

My surround sound system is
I had the same problem with my Kenwood KRF 5060d
First just sometimes I used to hear this noise click clack from the device while the sound disappeared. Then the problem became more frequent and no mere bearable.
So I've tryed to restablish the weldings on the board in correspondence to the speakers connections and the relay connections. Nothing changed, so I've substituted the relay OMRON G5PA 28 NW 12VDC 2 contacts normally open (6 pins) with the new FINDER 40.52 (8 pins) letting free the 2 pins for the normally close contacts.
Now my KRF 5060d is working properly with the only problem that sometimes the dispaly disappear and I have to apply a little pression on it with my fingers in order switch it on. Maybe I've compromised some contacts in the frontal pannel while unmounting even if it wasn't necessary.
