Can't setup my router

You should be able to download drivers and firmware from the smc site here.
Also see the FAQ or knowledge base articles to help you with installation questions.
A great site for help with all sorts of broadband and or wireless issues is this one. It takes a little reading to find the right section, perhaps, but a wealth of reliable info there. (You'll see there's an SMC forum, but read the FAQs too.)

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

License key

This is the wireless encryption key. Follow my directions that I posted here to get some instructions on how to locate it and/or change it.

The concept is the same. You have to log in to your router's control panel to locate the Wireless Encryption Key (which you are referencing as a, "License Key"). In this same region you will be able to change any settings on the wireless encryption and even change your password.

Let us know how it turns out and if we can assist you further.

Dropping internet connection

check if this problem is with both wired and wireless computers, if not with the wired..only wireless has problems, check if you have any other wireless device operating in the same frequency of the router..if s, turn off other devices and check b.cos that me interfere your w/ls connection, if wired is having the same problem, connect modem straight to the pc and observe the connection, so that you can isolate problem..

Ports

Try www.portforward.com
I didn't see your model listed, but perhaps you didn't list the complete number?
SMC.com has complete manuals, but, once again your model isn't listed.

How to reset default values

I would also recommend backing up the settings of the router, this should be within the settings menu somewhere, so as you can just restore the backup next time theres a fault.
