Thats the error code for failed convergence. You can get the convergence repair kit for your model at www.tvrepairworld.com which contains the parts and the CD with repair instructions.

It ispossible that your TV has a power supply failure and so I advice you check my link for tips:

The value wopuld have reduced to almost less than half of the presetn value of a new set( incidentely the value of TV's are dropping except when they are launched).Also the second hand buyers are limited buyers so you cannot expecct much out unless someone gets crazy.

Thats a convergence issue. You can get the convergence repair kit for your model at www.tvrepairworld.com the kit contains the ICs , resistors and the CD with instructions.

Either give me a yahoo or note if light on front of set blinks--count the blinks if it does.

most common is 3 blinks, pause 3 or 5 blinks etc.

Does the power indicator blink? If so how many times does it blink?

3 blinks is short protection and it usually means one of the protect resistors around the two STK-392-110 convergence chips is gone.

Total parts cost here will be under 25 dollars (I can tell you where) and this can be a do it yourself repair.

I have start to finish, step by step instructions for this repair that tell you everything you will need and EXACTLY how to do it.

The model indicated has no HDMI connector; the only way you could do it is if the Xbox has component outputs---red,green, blue as the set should have them on it.

Hi.

When this happens it usually means that you have a convergence problem.

The problem is fixed replacing the two convergence ICs. Depending on the model, before replacing the ICs you may attempt doing a convergence setup.
According to your description, if colors are not aligning, and picture is bowed at the edges, a convergence setup will not help. You have to replace the ICs.

The convergence ICs are two power amp STK chips, located on the convergence board. This must be desoldered and replaced with the new STK ICs, that must be soldered using coolant paste.
Depending on the situation, more components located on convergence board may need replacement.

You can order the ICs online, for example contacting any of the sellers below. Cost ranges from $8 to $20 each. There are two ICs. The repair must be done by an experienced person. The other components in convergence board must also be tested and eventually replaced.

Go into the menu with your remote a click on picture next scroll down to convergence and click on it. Follow the on screen instructions on how align or converge the diffrent color lines togeather. It will usually have a white cross on the the screen. This should solve your problems if not have a tech replace the 2 convergence chips in the back of you set

First do a convergence on your set go to menu select picture then scroll down to convergence then press select again. Next follow the on screen instructions for static convergence. If this doesnt solve the problem check all the capacitors in the convergence section of your TV. If problems persist replace both convergence chips. Please have tech do this for you.
