The projection lamp life are over.Require a new projection lamp for the replacement.

most sets havev a small door thathas has a screw on it and the bulb is inside a small cage you pull out

If it is a new bulb and does not come right on you need to take the platis housing off of the old bulb and put the new bulb in the old housing, the new bulbs dont always fit just right

Make sure the Lamp Fan is running if it stops cooling Lamp or is not running Lamp will not Light.

Below three images shows how to get access to lamp cover and lamp inside in Panasonic PT-50LC13 dlp tv.

1- Remove lower front cover.

2- You will see Lamp Cover there.


Tight screws as shown in above image.

But I did not find it much helps as all you need is a TY-LA1000 lamp that can be purchased from a number of dealers on the internet, or you may have a shop locally that will sell you one.
I have even found them as cheap as $124.00 on Amazon.com.

The replacment instructions will come with the new lamp and also how to reset the lamp timer.

2 press vol- on tv and pip on remote at the same time for more than 5 sec a message will appear

The power supply will need to be repaired by a service center.

you can simply go to the tv sets menu and go to lamp hours and highlight it then highlight reset and press enter

Snap-off lower front panel ( about 4" tall x width of TV.) Door behind there with philips screw. Philips screw for lamp itself.

check to insure that your input signal is clean,(clean picture) most modern TV`s blank the video if it is deemed of poor quality, also if you are using a VCR and are viewing pirate copy tapes the VCR will output a varying video level output signal to deter pirating of movies, using a video stabilizer between your VCR and your video input may solve this problem for you, check with your user manual as to the light flashing condition in the diagnostic section this will indicate the fault you are experiencing good luck

Hold VOL - on the TV then aim the remote at the TV (watch so that your arm doesn't block the remote signal and press PIP or the SPLIT button. Do this together for at least 5 second. I hope this helps, best wishes.

It means just that. Clean your air filter but to get to it is a different story. I would highly recommend calling an authorized service center to do it.. While he's at it, inquire about getting a ballast kit installed.
