How do I adjust handle bars to bring them closer
Some handlebar stems can be simply rotated towards you (Allen wrench to loosen and tighten), while others need to be replaced with a shorter stem.
Before doing anything, however, I recommend you first get a good opinion from your local bike shop on whether your seat is in the right position (height, as well as fore/aft). Then, they can help determine if the handlebars need to be closer and if it's just a simple adjustment.
Note: If stem actually needs to replaced with a shorter version, be careful about spending a significant % of the bike's worth.
How many links on chain for Navigator 300 ?
Chain link will be determined by frame size, as wheel base is longer with a larger frame and how long the rear derailleur cage is. Chains come in a standard 119 link length intended to be cut to size. There is no way to lookup the chain length. I would recommend taking it to your local bike shop (lbs) and having them install it.
Replace original bike seat
Lefty loosey, righty tighty. Counter clockwise. Also, check to see if the bolt is rusty because it may be seized. Some penetrating oil can help in this instance.
Duh. How do I
Run that through a search engine "How do I lower my seat" for videos and other prepared tutorials. had you purchased the bike at a reputable Bike Shop the fit and operation would have been dealt with.
Ineed to know how to mount the computer on the frame of my Trek 3.1 road bike.
You have several options:
1. Follow the instructions for the computer that came with it or that can be found on the manufacturer website.
2. Go to a bike co-op for help
3. Have a bike shop install it.
4. Provide some useful info here such as the make and model of the bike computer. Without that nobody can help you.
