Flooding real bad
Check and clean carb, sounds like the needle isnt seated in the carb properly, also check and possibly replace carb diaphrams

Don't mess with the insides of a STIHL carb, just buy a new one. Why put new parts in an old carb?
Oil leak in tank
There are only a few ways for oil to be leeking1. Crank housing gasket (most likely culprit)2, Rubber O-ring on filler cap3. Rubber seal fitting to Oil pump inlet.4. Crack in the crank housing
Is it the carbeurator if the chainsaw is flooding?
`It could well be the carb flooding, however if you have been cranking the engine for a time without it starting it will keep drawing fuel into the cylinder, you need to remove the spark plug, switch the on/off switch to off, make sure the choke is off, crank the engine until no more fuel comes from the open plug hole, now leave with the plug out to allow it to dry out, refit the plug and try to start with no choke and wide open throttle.
What is the fuel oil mixture for stihl ms660 chainsaw
hello sir, the gas / oil ratio is, 3/4 o/z per quart or 2.6 o/z per gallon of two cycle oil, any two cycle oil will do,this is how i mix mine and never had a problem,it is a good mix.hope this helps,don't forget the 4 thumbs up,any comments welcome,thank you. ~~
