If your television is not blinking light or giving any signal that it is plugged to a power supply, it simply means the television is not not receiving any power from the power source.

The problem is that the power panel of the television is bad and need to be replaced, Have a repairman replace the power panel and the television will be in good condition once again.

You can also replace it the DIY way, which simply is that you will have to unplug the television, then you unscrew it open, trace the power cord into the television and it will lead you straight to the power panel, then remove it from its compartment and assess it, if it has a bad capacitor then replace it by melting it off with a soldering iron and fixing in a new one and soldering it on it.

If it looks burnt, then you need to replace it with a new one.

This TV is 10 years old and probably requires a service that replaces the backlight invertor or just a power supply issue. Check to see if the light blinks. (That is the fault code and then google the result for more information).
