Unlock parent lock
Locate
the manual for your television. Though slightly embarrassing, accidentally
turning on the child lock to a TV is a common problem. The section In the
manual about how to set the child lock feature will also explain how to unlock
it.
Try
a few "universal methods" for unlocking the child lock. Some
televisions have a universal code built in for disabling the child lock --no
matter what your code is. A common code is "0000."
Unplug
your television for a few minutes. The internal battery of the TV is what helps
remember what your code. If the TV is unplugged for an extended period of time,
it clears the internal memory, which in turn will reset your child lock code.If you wish to get more,

Can not tune tv since change over
The KV-32FS100 only has an analog tuner (NTSC). Unless there is a low-power analog station still broadcasting in your area, you will not be able to watch OTA stations. (I've got one in my area that barely comes in.) If your local cable still sends an analog signal, you won't need a set top box to watch that subscribed service.Otherwise, you need a set top box to watch TV. A digital to analog converter (the boxes that were available with the government coupon before the switch over) will give you over the air stations. The basic models only provide SD output; there are a few HD models available. Otherwise, you can use a satellite reciever, cable box (for digital cable service), or something like the Boxee or Sling with tuner. (There are a few different models of the Boxee; one added a tuner with a USB dongle. The newest model of the Boxee has the ATSC tuner built in.) Note: OTA digital signal quality is either a strong enough signal for the tuner or no signal will be present. You need to point the antenna in the correct direction to receive the signal from your local transmitters. The type of antenna and its placement will also change the number of watchable channels. You can use
antennaweb.org or
tvfool.com to get more information. Antennaweb assumes an outdoor antenna but gives a conservative list of stations. If the signal is split to several devices, you may need an amplifier to get a watchable signal. (Sometimes amplifiers fail and you won't receive any stations, so test without the splitter or amplifier by using a direct cable to one TV.) I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

How do I get my dish tv to come in on this tv?
Dish has a conversion box for this application. Call your provider and let them know you have a non digital tv and would like to have the converter box to get all of the channels.

Is it dead?
Check its video output card for any loose solder terminals. This card can be located at the base of the picture tube, directly plugged on to it. Check all solder terminals here. It is a best practice to resolder all the suspected solder terminals, by applying a little more fresh solder. resolder all the CRT base socket solder terminals too. If the solder terminals that connect the filament of the picture tube got loose soldered, this kind of fault can occur intermittently.

Sony tv wont start up???
It seems the high voltage flyback
autotransformer has failed along with the horizontal amplifier (they are slaved
to each other). Do you hear any clicking sounds?
Or else it could be that the CRT tube is faulty and will need to be repaired/replaced.
Well, the only way to solve this is to get a technician take
a look at the set, I'm afraid. Repairs could cost upto $100 or more, depending
upon the number of components that need to be replaced,
It may be worth getting fixed up. If you decide to do so,
call around, as shops have different rates and different expertise.
Hope that helps!

Sony Vega gone red
I'm having the same problem, red picture. Did you find a repair person and if so what was the problem and cost to fix it? My television is only 4 years old so I'd prefer to fix it if it's cost effective.
