When I turn on the TV I hear the click sound and the TV powers up. Immediatly the red (standby) light begins to flash 6 times on and off. this happenes only in the morning, but after 5:00PM when youturn on the TV as if nothing is wrong.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. I think I have the solution for you. I have the same tv and it does the same thing when you turn on the power button on the remote when the tv turns on you hear a click then the red light flashes about 5 to 6 times then the tv comes on. on the remote there should be two buttons on top of the remote one says power and the other one says system hit the power button to turn on the tv when you hear the click and see the red light flashing then hit the system button which will turn off the tv then hit the power button again and it will turn the tv on without the red light flashing it should work

Three blinks - B+ over voltage protection (OVP), unit goes to the standby mode then displays the 3 blink fault. This is also a problem in the power supply circuit, check T603 and R672. just unplug tv 5 minutes. and plug it again. power on again. if not reset tv.
