Hello there: You didn't give out enough informations for me to think what is wrong with a new unit like yours.. What did the serviceman been doing durring these 6 times service call. Did the unit ever work even for one day? Did he change the defrost timer or just made adjustment on the timer. What happen, is the unit icing up so much so that the unit is just a block of ice and that blocked the circulation of the freezing cold air around the unit . Ice is only 32 degree and that is why you only can get 40 degree box. May be the drain tube always frosten up that cause the ice building back up to the coil and form a big lumb of ice. Let me know what is happening , did he add some gas in everytime he service your unit? Let me know more and I will try to solve your problem. Dickson

There is an overheat klixon on the evaporator that stops the fan running until the coil gets below -11c This can take some time after startup. if the freezer runs more than an hour before the fan starting, check the klixon isn't faulty, and you have power to the fan. Also check the condenser grille is nice and clean as it will slow down the freezing process.

T-stat issue is most probubal. Or check the condenser and clean it if needed. Or if comp runs then stops then runs then stops and or very hot, your comp is shot and needs to be replaced,

The light should have a cover over it. If not, then just try to loosen it if you can by pressing in on the bulb while turning it. This will help keep it secure to the base of the bulb. If you get it replaced it should work. If it doesn't, then check the button or 1/4 shape tab and see if it is loose or jammed. It stays in a somewhat wet environment all the time.
